Job Summary

We are seeking a Functional Architect for our ISG team with 5 to 9 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in NCR Advanced Store and POS Basics and a background in Merchandising is a plus. This hybrid role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our retail solutions. The position is based on a day shift schedule with no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement functional solutions for retail systems focusing on NCR Advanced Store and POS Basics to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and documentation to support system enhancements and new implementations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support during the testing phase to ensure solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on system functionalities and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance recommending adjustments to improve reliability and user experience.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of new functionalities into existing systems.
  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic planning and innovation.
  • Support the development of project plans timelines and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions.
  • Engage with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and implement complementary technologies and services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all system-related activities.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of NCR Advanced Store and POS Basics with proven experience in implementing these solutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
  • Have a background in Merchandising which is considered a valuable asset for this role.
  • Show proficiency in creating detailed documentation and functional specifications.
  • Display the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and industry trends.
