Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager-Data & ML Engineering with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Databricks and Azure Platform and will work in a hybrid model with day shifts. This role involves managing data engineering projects ensuring the successful implementation of machine learning solutions and contributing to the companys data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks to drive business insights and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into existing data pipelines for enhanced decision-making.
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of data platforms by leveraging Azure Platform capabilities.
- Lead the development of data processing frameworks that support real-time analytics and reporting.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows to ensure high performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable engineering plans.
- Implement best practices for data governance and security to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.
- Drive innovation by exploring new data technologies and methodologies to enhance the companys data capabilities.
- Facilitate the deployment of machine learning models into production environments ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues providing timely resolutions to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine algorithms and improve model accuracy and performance.
- Report on project progress and outcomes to senior management highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Azure Databricks and Azure Platform with proven experience in data engineering.
- Demonstrate proficiency in building and managing data pipelines and workflows.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Show experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members to achieve project goals.
- Have a solid understanding of data governance and security best practices.
- Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
