By combining deep industry knowledge with leading technology and data expertise, we partner with organisations to deliver meaningful, sustainable transformation. And now, we’re looking for our next colleague to help shape the future of work and change.

About the role

As a Change Management Lead you will make an impact by shaping and delivering high‑impact organisational change and transformation programs for leading organisations across Australia.

You will be a key member of Cognizant’s People & Change Consulting practice, working collaboratively with clients, Consulting leaders, and cross‑functional teams to design and deliver change strategies that enable business, workforce, and technology transformation—particularly in the context of digital and AI‑enabled change.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end change management engagements, from strategy and design through to implementation and adoption
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to shape workforce, operating model, and change strategies aligned to business outcomes
  • Support large‑scale transformation programs, including digital, AI, enterprise platform, and business transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to business development, including identifying opportunities, supporting proposals and RFPs, and growing trusted client relationships
  • Lead and develop high‑performing change consultants, fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑quality consulting culture
  • Collaborate closely with broader Cognizant Consulting, technology, and delivery teams to ensure change approaches are integrated and practical
  • Contribute to the evolution of People & Change propositions, tools, and ways of working in line with market trends

Work model

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What you must have to be considered

  • Significant experience (typically 8–10+ years) delivering organisation change management or transformation consulting in a client‑facing role
  • Proven track record supporting large, complex change initiatives within enterprise environments
  • Consulting experience with strong capability in engagement design, solution shaping, and commercial scoping
  • Hands‑on experience supporting change across technology‑enabled transformations (e.g. ERP, cloud, digital platforms, data or AI programs)
  • Formal change management certification (e.g. Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including leading workshops and executive‑level discussions
  • Eligibility to obtain baseline security clearance (or higher), if required for client engagements

These will help you succeed

  • Experience embedding change within AI‑enabled or digitally driven transformation programs
  • Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft 365
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling change narratives and artefacts
  • Experience mentoring or coaching consultants within a professional services environment
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Business, Organisational Psychology, Behavioural Science, or related disciplines

We’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Don’t hesitate to apply, even if you don’t meet every requirement. Your transferable experience and perspective could be exactly what our clients and teams need.
