· Implement ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from diverse sources (APIs, databases, event streams, flat files) into centralized data lakes or warehouses.
· Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and deliver clean, reliable datasets for analytics and ML workloads.
· Develop and maintain data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure pipeline reliability and data integrity.
· Optimize Snowflake costs through warehouse sizing strategies, clustering keys, result caching, and query profiling.
· Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and help establish engineering standards within the data team.
