About the role
As a Site Support Technician, you will make an impact by being the go-to person for onsite end users, keeping their systems running smoothly and ensuring they have the support they need to do their best work. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with the Manager.
In this role, you will:
• Provide Windows and Mac desktop support including break/fix troubleshooting, OS issue resolution, and day-to-day end-user assistance across hardware and software.
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities including PC staging, hardware deployment, software installation, and equipment decommissioning.
• Manage and track IT assets using SCCM and Intune, including software deployment, patch management, endpoint configuration, and compliance reporting.
• Diagnose and resolve end-user system failures across networking, printing, and file share issues, and troubleshoot network devices to ensure reliable connectivity.
• Process and manage tickets through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution, accurate documentation, and adherence to SLA requirements.
• Support VoIP phones, printers, scanners, and mobile devices (iOS and Android), and implement virus detection and eradication procedures.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in both English and Spanish and perform compliance tasks and asset tracking.

What you need to have to be considered:
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• 3+ years of experience in Windows 10/11 and macOS, with hands-on experience troubleshooting OS issues across both platforms.
• Strong proficiency with ServiceNow or a related ITSM ticketing tool, plus working knowledge of SCCM for software deployment and endpoint administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Symantec or similar antivirus/endpoint protection software.
• Hands-on experience with PC hardware, handheld scanners, label/laser/multifunction printers, and basic AV support.
• Experience supporting mobile devices like iOS and Android, VoIP systems, and computer asset tracking.
• Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs when moving electronic equipment.

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in IT support or a related field.
• Background in customer infrastructure support or managed services environments.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $45,000 - $56,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
