About the role

As a Prompt Engineer – Generative AI (Telecommunications), you will make an impact by designing, testing, and optimizing prompts and interaction patterns that improve the accuracy, safety, and consistency of Generative AI solutions. • Establish evaluation methods, reusable prompt libraries, and governance-aligned guardrails to support consistent and compliant AI outputs.
  • Develop and deliver prompt catalogs, test suites, and adoption guidance to support pilot and scaled AI deployments.
  • Apply Generative AI capabilities across telecommunications use cases such as agent assist, knowledge retrieval, incident triage, order and billing inquiries, and workflow automation.
  • Operate effectively within large, regulated enterprise delivery environments by aligning work to SDLC, ITSM, security, and change management standards.

  • Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments with strong governance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into reusable assets and guidance.

These will help you succeed

  • Telecommunications domain experience or prior work supporting customer service, operations, or automation use cases.
  • Experience supporting human-in-the-loop or agent-based AI solutions that balance automation with governance and risk controls.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, red-teaming approaches, and quality monitoring for Generative AI systems.
