Public Sector Core Program Consultant and Content Strategist

As part of the Service Delivery team in the CMT vertical at Cognizant, you will support a major cloud service provider’s sales organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented Engagement Analyst to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of customer engagements at GEC. This role requires working 5 days from the office and close collaboration with sales leaders, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient execution and optimal client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial planning calls to understand client and sales team needs

• Develop agendas based on client use cases and customer needs using GEC

• Gather logistical requirements from sales teams (dietary restrictions, headcount, room setup) and communicate to site teams

• Source and align appropriate speakers to each agenda topic; run speaker preparation and “know before you go” calls

• Update agendas in GEC

• Create and share meeting slide content using provided templates

• Ensure smooth execution during client engagements

• Send post-event surveys and document insights shared by account teams

• Track and report performance metrics

• Collaborate cross-functionally with on-site teams (catering, reception, AV, demos) and product/technical teams for session content

• Complete required training as processes or products are updated

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in customer engagement delivery from a SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS environment

• Experience in cloud sales and familiarity with cloud computing concepts

• Excellent planning, organizing, and stakeholder management skills

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including comfort presenting to executive and C-level audiences

• Based in the National Capital Region with regular commute to the Reston, Virginia Google office

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Experience delivering presentations or product demonstrations

• Expertise in storytelling and developing compelling, audience-appropriate content

• Familiarity with Public Sector customers, including Defense, National Security, State, Local, and Education markets

Compensation & Benefits

Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $70,000 - $75,000. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
