Overview
We are seeking a service provider capable of supplying one dedicated, full-time contractor resource with deep expertise in SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (formerly IdentityNow) to augment our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team.
The selected contractor will function as a hands-on IAM Systems Engineer, delivering high-quality operational support, configuration, and automation within SailPoint ISC, while partnering closely with application owners and internal IT teams to streamline identity governance processes.
The purpose of this engagement is to backfill senior-level engineering capacity that cannot be filled internally, allowing the team manager to maintain operational oversight while reducing hands-on execution risk.
Scope of Responsibilities
SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) Administration:
- Configure, administer, and maintain SailPoint Identity Security Cloud tenants.
- Support and enhance core IGA capabilities, including Joiner/Mover/Leaver lifecycle management, access certifications, RBAC, identity profiles, rules, and transforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SailPoint platform issues and integrations.
- Support upgrades, feature adoption, and production stability.
- Application Onboarding & Integration:
- Design, implement, and maintain SailPoint connectors for SaaS, on-prem, IaaS-hosted systems, and directories.
- Partner with application owners to define access models and automate provisioning workflows.
- Document integration patterns and operational runbooks.
IAM Automation & Operational Enablement:
- Develop SailPoint rules, transforms, workflows, and API integrations.
- Automate provisioning and deprovisioning using PowerShell and REST APIs.
- Support ServiceNow-driven access requests and reporting.
- Collaboration & Governance Support:
- Collaborate with InfoSec and IT Operations to resolve access issues.
- Support audits, access reviews, and compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years relevant SailPoint IdentityNow / Identity Security Cloud experience.
- 4+ years of broad IT Operations experience
- Strong experience integrating applications and automating IAM processes.
- Solid understanding of IGA concepts and ITIL processes.
- Strong communication and independent problem-solving skills.
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $100,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
