Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with a strong background in Telecom projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in functional testing, API testing, ETL testing, database validation, and end-to-end testing. The role requires hands-on expertise in testing large-scale applications, validating complex data transformations, and ensuring high-quality deliverables across telecom platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Functional, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), UAT, and BAT testing for telecom applications.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate service integrations across multiple systems.
- Execute ETL testing both manually and using ETL tools such as Informatica.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and execute test scenarios for complex telecom business processes.
- Perform defect identification, logging, tracking, and retesting using defect management tools.
- Create and validate complex SQL queries for backend database testing and data reconciliation.
- Work with Oracle databases and perform field-level mapping validations.
- Apply business rules and logic to validate data movement and staging environments.
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders during UAT/BAT phases.
- Explore and implement AI-driven approaches in ETL testing to improve testing efficiency and quality.
Required Skills & Experience
- Mandatory experience in Telecom domain projects.
- Strong expertise in:
- Functional Testing
- API Testing (Postman)
- Integration Testing
- End-to-End Testing
- UAT/BAT Testing
- Defect Management
- Hands-on experience in ETL Testing, including tools such as Informatica.
- Knowledge of AI implementation in ETL Testing and test automation initiatives.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience writing and validating complex queries.
- Experience working with Oracle databases and data validation techniques.
- Strong understanding of database structures, data mappings, and staging environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in client-facing environments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Work Requirements
Willingness to work from the client office, Sunday through Thursday.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
