Serve as a senior developer specializing in Snowflake administration and data engineering designing and optimizing robust cloud data solutions for a multinational organization. Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable Snowflake data warehouse structures that support complex analytics workloads and deliver reliable insights for global business stakeholders.Configure and manage Snowflake admin settings including roles users resource monitors and warehouses to ensure secure efficient and compliant data operations across environments.Develop optimized Snowflake SQL queries and views that improve data retrieval performance while maintaining accuracy and consistency for downstream reporting and data science teams.Build and maintain DBT core projects that standardize data transformation workflows enforce coding best practices and improve collaboration among data engineering and analytics partners.Create and refine DBT macros that automate repetitive transformation logic enhance reusability and reduce errors in complex data pipelines across multiple subject areas.Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs query execution plans and resource usage to minimize downtime and data latency.Collaborate with product analytics and business teams to translate functional requirements into robust data models and transformation logic that directly enable strategic decision making.Implement rigorous data quality checks and validation routines within DBT and Snowflake to prevent data inconsistencies and to ensure trustworthy metrics for leadership and operational users.Document technical designs data lineage and transformation logic in clear and accessible formats so cross functional teams can understand and safely extend existing solutions.Support hybrid work coordination by participating in virtual and onsite collaboration sessions ensuring smooth communication and continuity of project delivery in the day shift schedule.Contribute to initiatives that leverage data to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency helping the organization deliver hi tech solutions that positively impact society.Evaluate new Snowflake and DBT features and propose adoption strategies that enhance platform capabilities reduce manual effort and improve resilience of data ecosystems.Guide peers on best practices for Snowflake administration performance tuning and DBT project organization fostering a culture of quality engineering and shared technical standards.
Qualifications
Bring strong experience in Snowflake admin including security configuration warehouse management and performance optimization suitable for a senior developer with six to nine years of overall experience.Demonstrate deep proficiency in Snowflake SQL with the ability to write complex queries tune performance and design scalable data models for analytical workloads.Show solid hands on expertise in DBT core including project setup model development testing frameworks and deployment workflows within modern data platforms.Apply practical experience building and maintaining DBT macros that encapsulate reusable business logic and technical patterns to streamline transformation development.Utilize prior exposure to hi tech domain contexts to design data solutions that reflect industry specific needs such as rapid innovation cycles and detailed product telemetry.
