Lead the end-to-end migration of artifact repositories from Nexus to Cloudsmith across the enterprise. Assess existing Nexus repositories, formats, dependencies, integrations, and usage patterns to develop migration strategies and execution plans. Design and implement repository structures, access controls, retention policies, and governance standards within Cloudsmith. Act as the primary administrator and SME for Nexus and Cloudsmith platforms. Plan and execute migration of Maven, NPM, NuGet, PyPI, Docker, Helm, and other package repositories to Cloudsmith. Develop automated migration, validation, and repository synchronization processes to ensure minimal business disruption. Integrate Cloudsmith with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, EKS, Docker, Snyk, and Git-based development workflows. Establish enterprise standards for artifact storage, package lifecycle management, version control, and repository governance. Configure authentication, authorization, RBAC, SSO, secrets management, and repository security controls. Enable software supply chain security practices through package scanning, artifact validation, and vulnerability management. Automate artifact publishing, repository management, and promotion workflows across development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with development teams to onboard applications and migrate package publishing and consumption processes. Design and support Docker image repositories and container artifact management strategies. Integrate Cloudsmith repositories with Kubernetes and EKS deployment pipelines. Implement and maintain Snyk-based security scanning for artifacts, container images, and dependencies. Maintain and enhance repository platforms based on evolving business, operational, and compliance requirements. Monitor repository performance, storage utilization, availability, and platform health. Troubleshoot complex repository, package management, CI/CD, and integration issues and provide L3 support. Define backup, disaster recovery, archival, and retention strategies for enterprise repositories. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, security, reliability, and developer experience. Create migration plans, technical documentation, operating procedures, architecture diagrams, and knowledge articles. Mentor engineering teams on Cloudsmith adoption, repository management best practices, and software supply chain security.
