Role Title: Grafana Integrator & Report Developer
Location: Newyork, NY (HYBRID)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Grafana Integrator & Grafana Report Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise monitoring dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Grafana visualization, integration with multiple data sources, dashboard automation, and report generation while working closely with infrastructure, application, DevOps, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Grafana dashboards for infrastructure, applications, databases, cloud, and business KPIs.
- Integrate Grafana with various data sources such as:
- Prometheus
- Splunk
- Develop reusable dashboard templates, variables, and panel libraries.
- Build automated Grafana reports (PDF, CSV, scheduled reports) for business and operational stakeholders.
- Configure role-based access control (RBAC), folders, organizations, and dashboard permissions.
- Integrate Grafana with enterprise authentication mechanisms (LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth, SAML, Azure AD).
- Develop alerts, notification channels, and escalation workflows.
- Create custom queries using SQL, PromQL, LogQL, and Elasticsearch Query DSL.
- Optimize dashboard performance and data retrieval efficiency.
- Automate Grafana deployment using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes).
- Troubleshoot dashboard, plugin, datasource, and performance issues.
- Work closely with DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud, Security, and Application teams.
- Maintain documentation, standards, and dashboard governance.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $125,000 to $135,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
