Job Summary
This hybrid role is for a senior developer with six to ten years of experience in Pega Robotics and Pega applications focused on designing developing and optimizing scalable automation solutions. The role centers on building resilient workflows enhancing stability and quality and supporting business teams. Exposure to claims domain processes is considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design robust automation solutions using Pega Robotics that streamline complex business workflows and reduce manual effort for operational teams
- Develop high quality Pega application components that improve system reliability maintainability and long term scalability in a hybrid work environment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs that align with organizational standards and strategic goals
- Configure and fine tune integration points between Pega Robotics and upstream or downstream systems to ensure secure and efficient data exchange
- Optimize existing automations by analyzing performance metrics and refactoring components to increase throughput stability and resource efficiency
- Perform detailed code reviews and provide constructive feedback that improves adherence to standards enhances readability and strengthens overall solution quality
- Execute comprehensive unit and integration testing of Pega components to detect defects early and support smooth user acceptance testing cycles
- Document technical designs configuration details and deployment steps in a clear and reusable manner to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer
- Partner with operations and support teams to analyze incidents related to Pega solutions and implement sustainable fixes that reduce recurrence rates
- Apply problem solving skills to investigate root causes of automation failures and implement preventive measures that enhance platform resilience
- Collaborate with domain experts in claims processes when applicable to design automations that improve accuracy compliance and processing timelines
- Align daily development activities with organizational objectives so that delivered Pega solutions contribute to improved customer experiences and operational efficiency
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities where Pega Robotics can replace repetitive work and create measurable value for the organization
Qualifications
- Possess six to ten years of hands on development experience with primary focus on Pega Robotics and core Pega platform capabilities
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in designing reusable components workflows and rules in Pega that follow industry best practices and enterprise standards
- Exhibit practical knowledge of application lifecycle management including requirement analysis design development testing deployment and production support for Pega solutions
- Display familiarity with integration patterns such as web services messaging and database connectivity as implemented within Pega based ecosystems
- Showcase strong analytical and troubleshooting skills that enable effective diagnosis of complex issues in Pega Robotics and Pega applications
- Bring experience in working with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model while maintaining clear communication and proactive collaboration
- Offer prior exposure to claims domain processes where automations can streamline intake adjudication and resolution workflows even though this is considered a nice to have skill
- Commit to following secure coding standards governance guidelines and documentation practices for all Pega development work
Certifications Required
Pega Certified System Architect or Pega Certified Robotics System Architect is preferred for this role
