About the role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will make an impact by serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and acting as the business owner for those accounts, leading their day-to-day activities and P&L. You will be a valued member of the Client Partner team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders and Cognizant delivery teams.
In this role, you will
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and understand their issues and priorities
- Work with clients to define their problems and co-create solutions, serving as the day-to-day point of contact
- Drive RFPs and proactive bids for renewals, extensions, and expansion, and grow the account backlog
- Work with delivery teams to optimize the resource mix, navigate scope changes, and meet client expectations
- Track Insurance industry trends relevant to client business and lead onsite project teams
Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in San Antonio, Texas. What you need to have to be considered
- 15+ years of experience in a client-facing role in a consulting firm or an account/engagement management role in the IT professional services offshore/outsourcing industry, within the Insurance vertical
- Experience managing client P&L of $15+ million, including reporting and metric assessment for the account
- Excellent ability to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C-suite, and to interface at all levels of an organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including executive presentation and persuasion skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- MS or MBA degree
- Strong background in a project environment and application development in the Insurance vertical, with Property and Casualty experience a plus
- Proven track record contributing to new business development and leading multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrable problem-solving abilities with skills to identify strategic solutions to business problems that have enterprise-wide implications
- Flexibility to work among diverse corporate environments, industries, and technical and non-technical audiences
