Job Summary
This engineer manages mobile device enrollment, application deployment, and depot inventory/logistics for Project's field and plant mobility fleet, ensuring device readiness and lifecycle compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Mobile Device Management and enrollment via SOTI & SureMDM.
• Perform application management, including .apk wrapping and deployment to managed devices.
• Administer device feature controls, profiles, and certificate management.
• Update SSID configuration across devices per TGRC guidelines and frequency requirements.
• Perform OS and security patching for mobile devices as needed.
• Manage device/asset inventory and lifecycle, including annual replacement planning for out-of-warranty devices per Project procurement/shipping/staging processes.
• Maintain inventory/stock of mobile devices at depot locations and support device procurement/stock management.
• Perform asset reporting for CMDB updates and collaborate with Infra/Depot Services on device replacements and break-fix.
• Fix connectivity issues with collaboration with N/W team.
• Collaborate with application teams to stage/pre-load applications or OS settings prior to device deployment.
• Remediate cyber vulnerabilities on mobile devices per TGRC CVSS scoring, meeting critical (90-day) and internet-connected (24-hour) remediation timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years experience with enterprise Mobile Device Management (SOTI, SureMDM, Intune, or equivalent).
• Experience with device/asset inventory management and depot/logistics operations.
• Familiarity with application packaging (.apk) and certificate/profile management for mobile fleets.
• Understanding of vulnerability remediation timelines and CVSS scoring.
• Strong organizational skills for managing physical device stock and lifecycle planning.
