Join our expanding engineering team supporting a strategic initiative in the financial domain. As a global tech partner with over 30 years of experience, we help leading organizations modernize their systems and deliver top-tier digital solutions.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help build and evolve a modern platform based on GitOps, AWS, and Kubernetes (EKS). This role offers high ownership, real architectural impact, and close collaboration with engineering and platform teams.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain GitOps-based environments using ArgoCD
Build, extend, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins (Pipeline-as-Code)
Automate deployments across multiple environments
Operate and scale AWS + EKS production infrastructure
Implement DevSecOps, monitoring, and reliability best practices
Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Technical Requirements
GitOps & ArgoCD
Strong understanding of GitOps principles and repo-driven environment management
Hands-on experience with ArgoCD
Knowledge of sync policies, automated vs. manual sync, rollback strategies, and health checks
Experience with multi-environment setups, promotion flows, and drift detection
CI/CD & Automation
Jenkins (Shared Pipeline Libraries, Job DSL)
Ability to write, debug, and maintain scripted and declarative pipelines (Groovy)
Experience with Pipeline-as-Code aligned with GitOps standards
Integration of Jenkins pipelines with ArgoCD-driven deployments
Cloud & Containers
AWS: EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, S3 etc
Kubernetes (EKS): deployments, networking, autoscaling, cluster upgrades
Docker: multi-stage builds and security best practices
Helm & Infrastructure as Code
Strong experience with Helm (chart development, templating, versioning)
Helmfile for multi-chart, multi-environment deployments
Terraform: reusable modules, state management, remote backends, workspaces
Monitoring, Security & Reliability
Monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK (or similar)
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
Secrets management using External Secrets Operator (ESO) with AWS Secrets Manager / SSM
Scripting
Proficiency in Bash or Python (including Lambda automation use cases)
Additional Skills
Ability to document processes
Strong ownership mindset and effective problem-solving skills
Experience working with highly available systems
