A bit about the role
As a German‑speaking IT Support Associate, you will make an impact by delivering high‑quality first‑level IT support to enterprise clients in a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment. You will be a valued member of a multilingual support team, helping users resolve technical issues while ensuring a positive customer experience.

In this role, you will

  • Act as the first point of contact for end users and resolve IT issues at first level
  • Handle user requests via phone, email, and support tools in line with SLAs
  • Accurately document cases and actions in the ticketing system
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 teams and follow up through resolution
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through clear communication

Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring days per week in a Cognizant office in Budapest, Hungary. What you need to have to be considered

  • Fluent written and spoken German at C1/C2 level and upper‑intermediate English
  • Experience in IT Support or customer support in a service environment
  • Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Willingness to work in shifts

These will help you stand out

  • Interest in IT and technology, with a strong desire to learn
  • Experience working in a multilingual or international environment
  • Familiarity with ticketing or service management tools
