Job Summary
Participate in business requirements and functional requirements review meetings in designing and formulating of technical specifications on features to be implement in InsuranceNow
Analyze the requirements for implementing them using InsuranceNow either by using Out of the Box solutions in InsuranceNow platform or providing custom solutions
Estimates the development effort for both Configuration and Integration.
Design Develop and Unit Test InsuranceNow Configurations and customizations
Responsibilities
Must have proven experience in managing software development projects experience in agile methodology is highly preferred.
Hands on development experience in Java J2EE platform
Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams.
Strong in requirement gathering and analysis ability to work with a structured and methodical approach combined with an enquiring mind.
Prefer PMP or CSM certification.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team leader including the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a multitasking environment.
Holds Guidewire team and Customer team accountable to agree to deliverables and associated milestones sets expectations around impacts of delays and manages stakeholder expectations throughout. Escalates delays and project impacts appropriately and creates appropriate project artifacts.
Tracks project budget risks and issues and reports on a weekly basis presenting to Customer Sponsor Steering Committee at least once monthly. Provides suggestions on how to successfully manage delivery to Customer Leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features that align with business goals and customer needs.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog ensuring clarity and prioritization of tasks.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment on product vision and objectives.
Oversee the design and implementation of product features ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
Utilize XML Webservices Core Java and ANSI SQL to develop and enhance product functionalities.
Ensure seamless integration of InsuranceNow platform with existing systems to optimize business processes.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments of product performance identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams ensuring efficient resolution of issues and challenges.
Lead user acceptance testing to validate product features and ensure they meet customer expectations.
Monitor industry trends and advancements in Property & Casualty Insurance to inform product development strategies.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective product launch and promotion strategies.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all product development activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Possess in-depth knowledge and handson experience with XML Webservices SOAP and RESTful Core Java and ANSI SQL.
Demonstrate expertise in InsuranceNow platform and its application in Property & Casualty Insurance.
Exhibit strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address complex technical challenges.Showcase excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
Have a proven track record of successful product managemenment
