Service Line Specialist – ISG LS Commercial
Location: Mettawa, Chicago with 50% travel to other Midwest accounts
Level: Associate Director
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Service Line Sales Leader with expertise in Pharma Commercial Domain, Sales / Marketing / Market Access Data Analytics and / or Commercial Process / Content Management. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy individual driving consultative sales and support transformation initiatives across the mid-west portfolio by leveraging knowledge of syndicated data, commercial insights, and Pharma Industry trends. The role requires building and managing relationships with senior client stakeholders to deliver actionable recommendations that drive business transformation and operational excellence and deliver TCV / Revenue numbers.
Work model: Onsite - 2 days min and then 50% travel to other accounts.
In this role, As a –
· Serve as a Service Line Sales leader supporting the Pharma mid-west portfolio and enterprise-level transformation engagements within Pharma Commercial operations.
· Conduct research on industry’s best practices, operational performance drivers, and strategic trends impacting clients.
· Relationship management with senior client stakeholders and ability to act as a trusted advisor in driving transformation programs
· Sales tracking using CRM applications and maintaining regular hygiene on opportunities, forecasts and numbers
· Collaborate with different Cognizant Service Lines, Product Owners, business leaders, and senior stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and presentations to deliver solutions to the clients
· Support development of strategic recommendations, visualizations, and transformation roadmaps.
· Assist with business transformation initiatives, including process redesign, governance, and implementation planning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of Pharma Commercial operations, sales, marketing, and market access.
· Understanding of Commercial Data Analytics and operations, Experience with syndicated data (SPP, Rx, MMIT, 867, LAAD), CRM systems, and commercial analytics.
· Business Analysis: Proven ability in process documentation, operating model mapping, and delivering actionable recommendations.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Experience engaging senior client stakeholders and facilitating workshops/meetings and managing relationships to drive TCV / Revenue targets
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and BI/visualization tools
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred (Life Sciences, Business, or related field).
· Experience Level: 12–18 years in Pharma Commercial Operations / Data and Analytics, Market Access Business Analysis, or Strategy/Transformation roles

The annual base salary for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000. The specific salary is dependent on experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
