Purpose of the Project
Support client’s newly launched co‑brand credit card with a banking partner by driving acquisition performance and optimizing approval outcomes across the customer journey.
Project Scope
The Acquisition Specialist will work directly with the client’s co‑brand cards program to help boost important acquisition metrics. Their main goal is to raise application approval rates and increase the number of customers who obtain and activate the credit card. The role will work cross‑functionally with Client product, marketing, and operations teams, and closely with their banking partner stakeholders, to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and implement data‑driven improvements across the end‑to‑end acquisition funnel.
Key Activities - Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and optimise the end‑to‑end acquisition funnel for the Client co‑brand credit card, from application
start to card issuance and first transaction.
Analyse approval and decline data to identify key drivers impacting application success rates and
recommend corrective actions.
Work closely with Client’s banking partner’s credit, risk, and operations teams to improve approval outcomes
while remaining compliant with regulatory and policy constraints.
Partner with Client product, UX, and marketing teams to enhance customer journeys and reduce friction in
digital acquisition flows.
Monitor acquisition performance on a daily and weekly basis and produce actionable insights for
stakeholders.
Support acquisition campaigns, growth initiatives, and seasonal demand peaks to maximise funded card
volumes.

Knowledge and Experience
Strong understanding of credit card acquisition and underwriting processes
Experience working on co‑brand card programs or with issuing banks
Proven track record of improving acquisition and conversion metrics
Experience operating in regulated financial services environments
Ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and teams
Mandatory Skills
Credit card acquisition and lifecycle management
Data analysis and performance optimisation
Stakeholder and partner management
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
Advanced Excel and reporting skills (BI tools preferred)
