Job Summary
This hybrid Sr Consultant role focuses on delivering strategic consulting services for Property and Casualty insurance clients with day shift work and no travel requirement. The candidate will apply eight to ten years of experience to design and improve core insurance processes strengthen digital capabilities and drive measurable business outcomes that align with enterprise goals and customer centricity.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end consulting engagements for Property and Casualty insurance clients by analyzing current business processes and proposing practical improvements that increase operational efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with client stakeholders across underwriting claims policy administration and finance to translate business objectives into detailed solution requirements that support consistent service quality
- Design target operating models for core Property and Casualty functions including new business rating renewals and claims handling to optimize throughput reduce rework and enhance customer satisfaction
- Develop detailed business requirement documents process maps and use cases to guide technology implementation teams and ensure alignment with regulatory and operational constraints
- Coordinate with product owners architects and development teams in a hybrid work environment to validate solution feasibility and ensure that proposed changes are implementable within agreed timelines
- Perform detailed gap analysis between current and future state processes by reviewing system capabilities data flows and control mechanisms to identify improvement opportunities with clear value
- Lead requirement review workshops walkthroughs and system demonstrations for client subject matter experts to ensure shared understanding and traceability of all functional and nonfunctional needs
- Guide system testing efforts by defining test scenarios reviewing test cases and validating results so that delivered solutions meet business expectations for accuracy performance and compliance
- Create and maintain consulting deliverables such as status reports issue logs risk registers and benefit realization trackers to provide transparent progress updates to both client and internal teams
- Mentor junior consultants and analysts by providing structured feedback sharing domain knowledge in Property and Casualty insurance and encouraging consistent use of best practices in analysis and documentation
- Engage in continuous improvement activities by capturing lessons learned from each engagement and proposing refinements to frameworks templates and accelerators that strengthen future project delivery
- Prepare and deliver clear client facing presentations and reports that summarize findings recommendations and business cases enabling informed decision making and stakeholder alignment
- Support organizational initiatives that focus on responsible innovation and digital transformation in insurance so that client solutions contribute to broader societal resilience and customer protection
Qualifications
- Demonstrate eight to ten years of professional experience in consulting or business analysis with a sustained focus on Property and Casualty insurance operations and transformation programs
- Exhibit strong knowledge of Property and Casualty products including personal lines commercial lines specialty lines rating structures and policy lifecycle to communicate effectively with client experts
- Apply solid understanding of underwriting billing claims and reinsurance processes to design solutions that balance risk control customer experience and operational cost efficiency
- Use practical experience with core insurance platforms and policy administration systems to explain system limitations data dependencies and configuration options to both business and technology partners
- Show proficiency in requirements management process modeling and documentation tools while maintaining disciplined version control and traceability for all artifacts created during the engagement
- Communicate clearly in both written and verbal form with diverse stakeholders by simplifying complex topics and adapting messages for business operations technology teams and senior management
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills by breaking down ambiguous client problems into manageable components and prioritizing actions based on measurable business value
- Display working knowledge of regulatory and compliance expectations relevant to Property and Casualty insurance so that designed processes support appropriate governance and risk controls
- Demonstrate ability to thrive in a hybrid work model by managing time independently collaborating effectively through digital tools and maintaining reliable communication with distributed teams
- Show commitment to continuous learning by staying current with insurance industry trends data analytics techniques and emerging digital solutions such as automation and cloud based platforms
- Apply structured client engagement skills including facilitation negotiation and conflict resolution to maintain constructive relationships and achieve consensus on complex requirements
