Job Summary
We are looking for Sr Software Engineer will design build and enhance scalable cloud native applications using .Net Core React SQL Kubernetes and AWS .This role focuses on delivering secure and resilient solutions for consumer lending platforms collaborating closely with cross functional teams to improve customer experience and business efficiency while ensuring high quality and maintainable code
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services using .Net Core and react that power mission critical applications for consumer facing financial products ensuring reliability and maintainability in a hybrid work setup
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using React that deliver intuitive digital experiences for customers and internal users improving overall usability and satisfaction
- Create optimize and maintain complex SQL queries and data models that ensure data integrity performance and scalability across transactional and analytical workloads
- Containerize applications and services using Kubernetes to enable efficient deployment scaling and management of microservices across AWS based environments
- Configure and maintain AWS services such as compute storage and networking components to build secure resilient and cost efficient application platforms
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and quality engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions that align with organizational goals and regulatory expectations
- Apply secure coding practices implement proper authentication and authorization mechanisms and ensure compliance with internal security standards for all delivered features
- Develop automated unit tests integration tests and regression tests to maintain high quality code and reduce production defects over the entire software lifecycle
- Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing logs metrics and traces then implement durable fixes that address root causes and prevent recurrence
- Document system designs data flows API contracts and deployment procedures in clear and maintainable technical documentation that supports long term sustainability
- Participate actively in code reviews by providing constructive feedback identifying risks and promoting consistent engineering standards across the team
- Optimize application performance by profiling services tuning queries and refining resource usage to achieve responsive and efficient systems for end users
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines by configuring build steps quality gates and deployment workflows that improve release reliability
- Engage with stakeholders to understand evolving needs in consumer lending platforms and translate them into prioritized technical work that creates measurable business value
- Provide technical guidance to peers on best practices for cloud native engineering helping the team adopt modern patterns and tools without formal leadership accountability
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Net Core development with hands on experience building scalable APIs and services over six to ten years of professional engineering practice
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SQL including writing complex joins optimizing indexes and tuning queries to support high volume transactional systems
- Show practical experience using React to build modular component based user interfaces with a focus on maintainability testability and accessibility
- Bring working knowledge of Kubernetes including deploying workloads managing configurations and monitoring containerized applications in production environments
- Have proven experience with AWS based solutions covering core services such as compute storage networking and managed databases for enterprise applications
- Exhibit familiarity with modern software engineering practices including version control branching strategies code review workflows and automated testing frameworks
- Apply understanding of secure development concepts and basic compliance expectations relevant to financial or data sensitive applications
- Preferably have domain experience in consumer lending or broader financial services enabling better understanding of lending workflows and customer journeys
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate complex issues and propose pragmatic high impact solutions
- Communicate clearly with cross functional partners documenting decisions and explaining technical approaches in a way that supports shared understanding and alignment
- Adapt effectively to a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools maintaining transparency and ensuring consistent delivery regardless of location
