About the Role
As a Data Center Security Architect, you will make an impact by designing and developing end-to-end physical and logical security architecture for data centre environments. You will be a valued member of the Critical Infrastructure & Facility Design team, working collaboratively with facility engineers, compliance officers, and technology leads to build secure, sustainable, and regulation-compliant data centre solutions that set the standard for operational resilience.
In This Role, You Will:
Design and develop end-to-end DC physical and logical security architecture, integrating advanced access controls, surveillance systems, and anti-tampering measures to protect critical infrastructure.
Optimize structural, power, and cooling systems within data centre facility designs, aligning solutions with green data centre standards and global energy efficiency benchmarks.
Ensure all architectural models and construction documents strictly comply with applicable regulatory frameworks, building codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct security risk assessments across facility and infrastructure layers, identifying vulnerabilities and prescribing mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including operations, compliance, and engineering teams to integrate security requirements throughout the data centre lifecycle, from design through to commissioning.

Strong knowledge of DC facility design, encompassing structural integrity, power distribution (UPS, PDU), and cooling systems (CRAC, CRAH, free cooling).
Familiarity with green data centre standards and energy efficiency frameworks such as PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness), ISO 50001, or equivalent.
Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, including relevant building codes, safety regulations, and data centre certification standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier, EN 50600).
Demonstrated ability to produce architectural documentation, including designs, schematics, and construction-ready specifications.
These Will Help You Stand Out
Certifications such as CDCDP (Certified Data Centre Design Professional), CDCP, or equivalent industry credentials.
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) applied within physical data centre contexts.
Knowledge of BMS (Building Management Systems) and DCIM tools for integrated facility monitoring and management.
Familiarity with BREEAM or LEED sustainability certification processes for data centre construction projects.
We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Don't hesitate to apply, even if you only meet the minimum requirements listed.
