About the role
As a QA Test Lead – Facets & AWS Migration, you will make an impact by leading end‑to‑end quality assurance for large‑scale healthcare payer systems undergoing cloud transformation. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, compliant, and scalable solutions across on‑prem and AWS cloud environments.
In this role, you will:
- Lead end‑to‑end QA testing for Facets Enrollment, Claims, and Billing modules across hybrid (on‑prem and AWS) environments.
- Define and execute test strategies for AWS infrastructure validation, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
- Drive data validation and reconciliation between legacy systems and cloud platforms during migration phases.
- Oversee security and access control testing, including IAM roles, MFA, and API gateway policies.
- Manage QA delivery across onshore/offshore teams, including sprint coordination, tracking, and reporting.
- Design and execute functional, regression, and integration test cases for Medicare and Medicaid workflows.
- Validate post‑migration performance, disaster recovery, and failover capabilities (RTO/RPO, multi‑AZ).
- Manage defect lifecycle, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with development and DevOps teams for resolution.

What you need to have to be considered
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare payer IT, with strong QA and systems analysis expertise.
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience with TriZetto Facets (Enrollment, Claims, Billing).
- 4+ years of AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
- Proven experience supporting cloud migration and modernization programs, including data validation and cutover readiness.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid claims processing and regulatory requirements.
- Advanced SQL skills for backend validation across Facets and AWS databases.
- Experience with EDI transactions (837, 835, 834, 270/271).
- Experience managing onshore/offshore QA teams in Agile environments.
These will help you stand out
- AWS Certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner or higher).
- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) and cloud automation testing.
- Prior experience in client‑facing Test Lead roles with major healthcare payers.
- Agile certifications such as CSM, SAFe Agilist, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to validate complex migration and integration scenarios.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93,000 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
