About the role
As an Oracle Solution Architect, you will make an impact by solutioning Oracle and Oracle AI opportunities and leading pre-sales for the EMEA region, shaping AI-enabled transformation propositions and translating business priorities into secure, scalable and value-led solution roadmaps. You will be a valued member of the Oracle Centre of Excellence for Global Growth Markets team and work collaboratively with Oracle SLS teams, market CP/CRMs, and clients.
In this role, you will
Lead initial customer conversations for Oracle modernization and AI-enabled transformation, identifying priority business outcomes, high-value use cases and adoption considerations.
Lead Oracle and AI readiness assessments to build a phased modernization roadmap covering applications, data, integration, cloud platform, security, governance and change adoption.
Design differentiated Oracle solutions that embed AI into business workflows across ERP, HCM, SCM and CX, with clear value realization, architecture and delivery plans.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams across Testing, Legacy Integrations, Cloud Enablement and Change Management as solution lead for RFPs, bringing Oracle AI capabilities and Cognizant accelerators to customer opportunities.
Establish responsible AI and security-by-design guardrails covering identity and access, data privacy, model risk, prompt and output controls, auditability and regulatory requirements.

What you must have to be considered
Experience leading mid to large-size Oracle programs as a Solution Architect in transformation programs, with a deep understanding of the customer journey to Oracle and the various options available.
Experience in pre-sales activities, including leading RFP/RFI responses as Solution Lead, and managing multiple streams within a program such as functional, integration, data migration and change management.
Breadth of understanding of the overall Oracle landscape, interdependencies between modules and cross-functional integration, with strong awareness of the Oracle product roadmap and market trends across Fusion Cloud Applications, OCI, data platforms, generative AI and agentic AI.
Hands-on understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud embedded AI capabilities and Oracle AI Agent Studio, including agent design, orchestration, tools, security and lifecycle management.
Working knowledge of OCI AI services and enterprise AI architecture patterns, including generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, APIs and integration services.
These will help you succeed
Ability to act as a trusted advisor to customer program teams, represent Cognizant during Steering Committee meetings and engage with CXOs and department heads.
Ability to assess AI use-case feasibility, data readiness, risk, operating model and total cost, and convert findings into a prioritized roadmap and business case.
Experience defining responsible AI, security, privacy, compliance, observability and human-in-the-loop controls for enterprise solutions.
Ability to create and present AI-enabled solution demonstrations, reference architectures and executive-level value propositions for business and technology stakeholders.
Strong industry domain and process leadership skills, building trust in customer conversations.
