Job Summary
This hybrid role supports policy servicing for life and annuities insurance clients by executing precise back office processes updating policy records and managing daily requests using MS Office tools. The specialist ensures data accuracy timely resolution of customer requests and compliance with company procedures while collaborating within rotational shifts in a multilingual professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform policy servicing activities by updating policy records maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring every change request is processed within agreed timelines
- Execute end to end back office tasks for life and annuities policy administration using MS Office applications to maintain consistent and reliable data quality
- Handle incoming work items such as policy changes premium adjustments and beneficiary updates by following defined standard operating procedures and control guidelines
- Review source documents and digital inputs to validate completeness accuracy and consistency before processing them into the core policy systems
- Coordinate with internal teams through email and collaboration tools to clarify missing information and resolve discrepancies impacting policy servicing workflows
- Prepare and maintain daily trackers logs and reports in spreadsheets to monitor volume turnaround time and quality of completed policy servicing transactions
- Respond to queries from stakeholders by providing clear status updates on assigned work items explaining actions taken and documenting outcomes in the tracking systems
- Adhere to rotational shift requirements by managing workload efficiently handing over tasks clearly and ensuring continuous coverage for time critical processes
- Follow compliance and risk guidelines by applying internal control checks maintaining data confidentiality and escalating exceptions to supervisors as required
- Utilize MS Office tools to format correspondence create simple templates and prepare summaries that support policy servicing operations and process improvement discussions
- Identify recurring issues in policy transactions by observing patterns documenting findings and suggesting practical improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail in every transaction to minimize rework reduce errors and safeguard the integrity of customer policy information
- Support the organization purpose by delivering reliable policy servicing outcomes that help customers access their life and annuities benefits with confidence and trust
Qualifications
- Possess professional experience between one and three years in policy administration back office operations or similar support functions within financial services or insurance environments
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with MS Office applications including spreadsheets word processing and presentation tools to handle data documentation and reporting tasks effectively
- Display working knowledge of life and annuities insurance concepts such as policy issuance endorsements renewals surrenders and claims to interpret servicing requests accurately
- Show ability to read write and speak English clearly for processing documentation understanding guidelines and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across locations
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving skills with the capacity to review complex information identify gaps and apply appropriate actions within defined procedures
- Present high attention to detail and quality orientation by consistently delivering error free work following checklists and double checking critical policy information
- Demonstrate adaptability to hybrid work arrangements and rotational shifts by managing time effectively staying self disciplined and remaining responsive in a dynamic operations setup
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include MS Office Specialist or equivalent productivity suite certifications relevant to data and document management
