Job Summary

This hybrid day shift role is for a Technical Lead with experience in dot Net technologies and database development who will guide design and delivery of scalable applications and APIs while mentoring engineers and ensuring high quality solutions. The role focuses on core backend services and integration with relational databases supporting business needs in enterprise environments ideally within property and casualty insurance with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Drive end to end design and development of enterprise applications using dot Net Framework dot Net Core and VB dot Net to deliver robust maintainable and scalable solutions that align with business goals and technology standards

Oversee implementation of backend services and microservices using C sharp dot Net and ASP dot NET Core Web API to ensure secure performant and reliable interfaces for internal and external consumers

Coordinate integration of application components with SQL Server My SQL and Oracle databases using PL SQL and advanced query optimization to support high volume transactional workloads and analytical reporting

Provide technical guidance to the development team by reviewing code patterns enforcing design standards and promoting best practices in object oriented programming and clean architecture for sustainable delivery

Ensure application reliability and resilience by defining error handling strategies monitoring performance metrics and driving tuning activities that reduce latency improve throughput and enhance user experience

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and product teams to translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications that reduce ambiguity and accelerate delivery of high value features

Manage configuration and deployment pipelines for dot Net solutions across hybrid environments by coordinating with operations teams to maintain stable builds smooth releases and consistent application availability

Implement secure coding practices and data protection mechanisms across services and APIs to safeguard sensitive information and comply with organizational policies and regulatory expectations in enterprise settings

Guide adoption of unit testing integration testing and automated validation frameworks in dot Net projects to improve defect detection reduce regression risk and support continuous integration processes

Coordinate troubleshooting efforts for complex production issues by analyzing logs database traces and application metrics to identify root causes and implement durable corrective actions that prevent recurrence

Contribute to solution design for property and casualty insurance systems when applicable by applying understanding of policy claims and billing flows to shape technical approaches that improve customer and operational outcomes

Support hybrid work collaboration by using digital tools to maintain clear communication documentation and knowledge sharing so that distributed team members remain aligned on priorities and technical decisions

Advocate continuous improvement by evaluating new dot Net features database capabilities and development tools then recommending practical enhancements that increase productivity quality and long term system value

Qualifications

Demonstrate strong proficiency in VB dot Net C sharp dot Net dot Net Framework dot NET three point zero and dot Net Core with hands on experience building and maintaining production grade applications

Apply advanced skills in ASP dot NET Core Web API to design implement and optimize secure scalable service endpoints that integrate with diverse client applications and downstream systems

Utilize solid experience with SQL My SQL Oracle and PL SQL to design normalized schemas write efficient queries create stored procedures and ensure reliable persistence and data integrity

Exhibit practical understanding of hybrid work models and collaborative tools enabling effective coordination with cross functional teams while maintaining productivity and clarity in distributed environments

Bring four to eight years of professional experience in software development or technical lead roles working on complex enterprise systems that demand quality performance and maintainability

Leverage domain exposure to property and casualty insurance as a desirable capability to better interpret product needs and design solutions that align with industry processes and regulatory expectations
