This hybrid role involves designing and optimizing geospatial routing solutions using ( Meta Router (Preferred) Cloud Router and React Router to support complex mapping and navigation capabilities for enterprise applications. Responsibilities
- Design advanced geospatial routing solutions that leverage ICM Router Servers Cloud Router and React Router to deliver accurate pathfinding and mapping capabilities for complex enterprise applications and platforms
- Oversee integration of routing engines and map services into existing and new business systems ensuring high performance routing calculations and minimal latency under varying production workloads
- Provide detailed spatial analysis and routing optimization using large geospatial datasets to improve travel time estimates route selection logic and operational efficiency for business processes
- Develop configuration standards design guidelines and operational playbooks for ICM Router Servers and Cloud Router deployments that support scalability fault tolerance and consistent routing behavior across environments
- Coordinate with product managers and engineering teams to translate mapping and navigation requirements into concrete routing configurations data models and feature enhancements that align with organizational goals
- Implement robust monitoring logging and validation routines for routing services to quickly identify anomalies maintain data accuracy and improve overall reliability of geospatial functionalities
- Lead end to end troubleshooting of routing issues by analyzing server logs configuration parameters and map data quality to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement of routing performance
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to design secure and efficient network topologies that support Cloud Router connectivity data exchange and compliance with enterprise security and governance policies
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation routing configuration references and data flow diagrams that enable consistent understanding and smooth onboarding for stakeholders working with geospatial systems
- Drive enhancements to React Router based front end navigation flows by advising on route structures state handling and mapping interactions that improve usability and clarity for application users
- Conduct performance benchmarking and capacity planning exercises for routing services to anticipate growth needs optimize resource usage and align infrastructure costs with strategic value delivery
- Guide teams on best practices for spatial data management including data sourcing projection handling and map layer configuration to ensure routing decisions are based on accurate and timely geospatial information
- Partner with analytics and business stakeholders to demonstrate how improved routing and mapping solutions contribute to reduced operational overhead better customer experiences and positive impact on community mobility outcomes
Qualifications
- Showcase extensive experience using ICM Router Servers to configure complex routing rules manage routing instances and support enterprise scale map based decision systems for at least eight years
- Apply strong proficiency with Cloud Router technologies to design controlled data paths manage hybrid connectivity and ensure secure integration between on premises geospatial assets and cloud hosted routing services
- Demonstrate advanced practical knowledge of React Router to build clear route structures support dynamic navigation patterns and integrate map based views within modern single page applications
- Utilize solid understanding of geospatial concepts such as projections coordinate systems and spatial indexing to design routing logic that remains accurate and efficient across diverse regions and datasets
- Leverage experience working in hybrid work models to collaborate effectively through remote and onsite interactions using structured communication practices and clear documentation habits
- Employ proven skills in performance optimization capacity planning and service observability to ensure routing services remain resilient scalable and aligned with expected service level objectives
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem solving capabilities to diagnose complex routing behaviors evaluate alternative solution approaches and implement improvements that maximize value for both the organization and the wider user community
