Job Summary
This role focuses on specialized policy servicing activities within a multinational corporate environment ensuring accurate handling of property and casualty insurance information through extensive use of MS Office tools. The SME will support night shift operations from office driving process excellence compliance and high quality service delivery to global stakeholders while enhancing customer and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex policy servicing tasks for property and casualty insurance accounts ensuring accurate data capture validation and maintenance to support timely and precise policy administration across global business units.
- Manage end to end policy servicing workflows using MS Office applications including preparation of structured policy documents tracking reports and logs that improve transparency and operational control.
- Coordinate with underwriting and operations teams through well documented communications and detailed status updates to support seamless policy issuance endorsements renewals and cancellations.
- Analyze policy level information and servicing requests to identify discrepancies missing data and potential risks and take corrective actions that reduce errors and enhance policy quality.
- Prepare comprehensive reports dashboards and performance summaries in MS Office that highlight servicing volumes turnaround times quality trends and process exceptions for management review.
- Maintain detailed records and audit ready documentation for all servicing activities ensuring adherence to internal standards external regulations and client specific requirements.
- Support night shift operations by consistently meeting service level agreements managing peak workloads and escalating critical issues promptly to maintain business continuity and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to refine policy servicing procedures suggesting enhancements that streamline workflows reduce manual effort and improve overall process efficiency.
- Apply working knowledge of property and casualty concepts when available to interpret coverage details policy clauses and endorsements thereby improving the accuracy and relevance of servicing outputs.
- Utilize advanced features of MS Office such as formulas pivot tables conditional formatting and templates to automate repetitive tasks and generate insightful policy servicing reports.
- Monitor compliance with organizational policies and insurance servicing guidelines proactively identifying potential gaps and recommending actions that strengthen control and reduce operational risk.
- Assist in preparing training materials and reference documents for team members capturing best practices and standardized formats that support consistent delivery across the servicing function.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing root causes of defects in policy servicing proposing practical solutions and supporting implementation to enhance quality and customer outcomes.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in MS Office with advanced proficiency in word processing spreadsheets presentations and email tools enabling efficient handling of large policy datasets and documentation.
- Demonstrate proven experience in policy servicing or similar back office operations over five to eight years with a track record of meeting performance metrics and maintaining high accuracy levels.
- Bring exposure to property and casualty insurance servicing including familiarity with policy structures coverage types endorsements and renewal processes which adds depth to daily operational decisions.
- Show ability to work effectively in a full time office based night shift environment maintaining focus productivity and professionalism while supporting global time zone requirements.
- Exhibit strong analytical documentation and communication skills that support clear interpretation of servicing instructions thorough record keeping and effective coordination with stakeholders.
- Display commitment to quality compliance and process discipline using checklists verification steps and standardized templates to minimize errors and ensure reliable policy servicing outcomes.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include MS Office Specialist or equivalent productivity tools certification and any property and casualty insurance foundation certification.
