About the Role
As a Associate Director, Healthcare Delivery & Transformation, you will make an impact by leading large-scale healthcare payer delivery programs, driving operational excellence, and enabling strategic transformation initiatives across complex client engagements. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Practice team and work collaboratively with clients, delivery leaders, product teams, solution architects, and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Own end-to-end delivery accountability for healthcare payer engagements, ensuring on-time, high-quality execution while meeting SLA, SOW, and contractual commitments.
- Lead large and complex healthcare transformation programs, including platform implementations, upgrades, modernization initiatives, and cloud transformation programs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, Centers of Excellence, and product organizations to define innovative solutions, optimized delivery models, and scalable engagement strategies.
- Drive operational excellence by managing portfolio performance, forecasting revenue, optimizing utilization, and achieving financial and operational goals.
- Support business growth through solution development, proposal leadership, estimation, pricing strategy, client assessments, and executive presentations.
- Mentor and develop delivery leaders, identify talent gaps, and build high-performing teams that support long-term business growth.
- Champion GenAI-enabled transformation, industrialization, automation, and platform-driven governance to improve customer experience, productivity, and delivery efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for TriZetto products, Health Plan Cloud (HPC), and healthcare payer technology solutions.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 15+ years of experience leading enterprise IT delivery programs, including large-scale consulting and technology services engagements.
- 5+ years of experience within the Healthcare Payer domain, including healthcare product consulting and delivery leadership.
- Deep expertise with TriZetto solutions, including Health Plan Cloud (HPC), and a strong understanding of payer operations, processes, and technologies.
- Proven experience leading large-scale platform implementations, COTS solutions, upgrades, modernization programs, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong program governance experience managing risks, financial performance, SLA compliance, and contractual obligations.
- Demonstrated success managing large client portfolios, revenue forecasting, margins, utilization, and operational performance metrics.
- Executive-level communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior client and internal leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

- Expertise in delivery industrialization, automation, platform-driven governance, and operational optimization strategies.
- Strong consulting background with experience leading assessments, proposal development, solutioning, pricing, and proposal defense activities.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor delivery leaders while building and retaining high-performing teams.
- Certification such as AHM 250 or other healthcare industry certifications.
- Experience leading healthcare delivery organizations across North America.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $150,000 - $175,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
