About the role
As a D365 F&O Functional Consultant, you will make an impact by supporting the implementation, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. You will contribute to Finance and Supply Chain workstreams, assist with integrations, and support successful project delivery through documentation, testing, and user enablement activities. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team working collaboratively with the Senior Manager.
In this role, you will
- Prepare, maintain, and update test scripts and test scenarios.
- Execute manual test cases and document testing outcomes.
- Support D365 F&O configuration activities based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain configuration, process, and project documentation.
- Create user guides, knowledge articles, and training materials.
- Support Finance module testing, reconciliation validation, transaction verification, and reporting requirements.
- Participate in integration testing and validation of inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Document interface mappings, integration test results, and process workflows.
- Support issue tracking, defect validation, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.
- Log, categorize, analyze, and track support tickets and user-reported issues.
- Support incident management, service request management, hypercare, and post-go-live activities.
- Maintain support knowledge repositories and operational documentation.
- Escalate complex functional issues to senior consultants or support leads as required.

What you need to have to be considered
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong experience as a D365 Finance Functional Consultant.
- Experience with General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Project Management, and Expense Management.
- Excellent experience with D365 Supply Chain Management.
- Experience with D365 Electronic Reporting.
- Experience supporting Finance reconciliations, transaction validation, and reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of ERP integrations, interface mappings, inbound/outbound interfaces, and integration testing.
- Experience with incident management, service request management, defect resolution, and user support activities.
- Experience creating functional documentation, user guides, knowledge articles, and training materials.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.

- Experience with country-specific localization and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience with Independent Software Vendor (ISV) solutions integrated with D365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience supporting complex Finance and Supply Chain integrations.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support environments.
- Experience supporting users during hypercare and post-go-live periods.

Total compensation
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $90,000.00 – 105,000.00 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
