Job Summary

Architect role for an MNC focusing on advanced AI and BI solutions using Databricks and PySpark responsible for designing scalable dashboards data workflows and analytics capabilities that support multi channel business operations in a hybrid work model with day shift and no travel ensuring robust data quality reliability and actionable insights for enterprise stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design robust AI and BI architecture that integrates Databricks SQL Delta Lake and PySpark to deliver highly reliable dashboards and insights for enterprise business teams in a hybrid work environment.
• Develop comprehensive AI and BI dashboard solutions using AI BI Genie and Databricks workflows that present complex metrics in a clear and actionable format for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Implement optimized data models and lakehouse structures on Databricks Delta Lake that support high volume multi channel analytics with strong emphasis on performance and data integrity.
• Configure and maintain Databricks workflows to orchestrate ingestion transformation and publishing pipelines that ensure consistent and timely delivery of data to AI BI dashboards.
• Utilize Genie Code and AgentBricks Mosaic AI capabilities to build intelligent analytic components that enable scenario simulation predictive insights and guided decision support.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to define standards for PySpark coding practices data partitioning and query optimization that align with enterprise performance and cost objectives.
• Align architectural decisions with company strategy by mapping AI BI use cases to business value outcomes such as revenue growth operational efficiency and improved experience across multiple channels.
• Review solution designs and technical deliverables to ensure adherence to security compliance and governance guidelines while maintaining flexibility for future expansion of AI capabilities.
• Provide guidance on best practices for monitoring logging and incident handling in Databricks environments so that issues in data pipelines and dashboards are detected and resolved quickly.
• Coordinate with product and business stakeholders to translate analytic requirements into technical specifications that can be implemented using Databricks SQL workflows and Genie components.
• Drive continuous improvement of data quality by defining validation rules reconciliation checks and metric definitions that enhance trust in AI BI dashboards across the organization.
• Document architectural patterns reference implementations and configuration guidelines that help project teams rapidly deliver consistent AI and BI solutions in day shift hybrid mode.
• Support knowledge sharing and mentoring of team members on advanced Databricks features PySpark techniques and AI BI Genie usage to elevate overall capability and project delivery impact.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ten to twelve years of experience in data and analytics solution architecture with strong focus on AI and BI implementations in large scale enterprise environments.
• Possess deep hands on proficiency in Databricks SQL Delta Lake and Databricks workflows with proven ability to design resilient and efficient data pipelines for analytics.
• Apply advanced PySpark skills to build complex transformations data aggregations and performance optimized jobs that serve as the foundation for AI and BI reporting solutions.
• Show extensive experience building and managing AI BI dashboards that deliver clear visualizations drill down capabilities and consistent metric definitions across channels.
• Exhibit practical expertise with AI BI Genie Genie Code and AgentBricks Mosaic AI to create intelligent analytic features that enhance decision making and automation.
• Bring domain familiarity with multi channel business processes such as digital retail and contact center operations that informs the design of relevant analytic use cases.
• Operate comfortably in a hybrid work model with day shift requirements while collaborating across global teams using remote friendly communication and documentation practices.

The annual salary for this position is between125-130Kepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
