Blending our deep industry and technology advisory capability, we create innovative business solutions for Fortune 500 clients. And now, we’re looking for our next colleague who’ll join us in shaping the future of business. Could it be you?
About the role
As a SCEPTRE Domain Consultant, you will make an impact by leading current-state functional discovery for a SCEPTRE enterprise assessment supporting a major North American airline. You will establish the evidence needed to guide system decoupling recommendations and an implementation roadmap. You will work collaboratively with solution and integration architects, airline technology and operations stakeholders, and functional subject matter experts.
In this role, you will:
- Lead structured discovery across SCEPTRE modules, including Maintenance Execution, Materials Management, Planning and Optimization, Procurement, Finance and Warranty, and shared integrations.
- Document current-state business processes, business rules, data structures, and undocumented system logic identified through functional analysis and reverse engineering.
- Map integrations between SCEPTRE and connected platforms, including SAP or ERP, Korber or WMS, AeroExchange or SPEC2000, EMS, and Flight Operations, capturing data flows, dependencies, and decoupling complexity.
- Partner with solution and integration architects to assess module-level decoupling feasibility, impacts, risks, data-quality concerns, and capabilities that must be preserved during replacement.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, translate COBOL-level findings into validated and traceable business requirements, and contribute to gap analyses, build-versus-buy assessments, solution-design inputs, and AI or machine-learning feasibility reviews.

- Proven experience documenting current-state processes and eliciting requirements in airline maintenance environments, with knowledge of aircraft records, airworthiness, discrepancy management, parts traceability, maintenance documentation, warranty recovery, cost capture, and financial accruals.
- Experience supporting legacy-to-modern MRO platform migrations and working across Maintenance Control, Engineering, Records, Planning, Stores, Information Technology, and Quality or Compliance stakeholder groups.
These will help you succeed
- Direct SCEPTRE experience and the ability to interpret IBM IMS database, COBOL, and IMS DC system behavior and data structures.
- Familiarity with the IBM mainframe technology stack, including COBOL, IMS V10, DB2, and JCL.
- Experience with SPEC2000 or AeroExchange supplier-connectivity standards.
