About the role
As a ServiceNow SPM Solution Architecture Manager, you will make an impact by leading the design, implementation, and evolution of enterprise ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions that align portfolio strategy, Agile delivery, and business outcomes.
You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Platforms team, partnering with business leaders, portfolio managers, Agile teams, architects, and technology stakeholders to design scalable ServiceNow solutions that drive operational excellence, governance, and digital transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions across enterprise environments.
- Define and govern scalable ServiceNow architecture, workflows, data models, integrations, and platform standards.
- Design and implement enterprise Agile operating models, including portfolio intake, demand management, project execution, Sprint planning, and Kanban workflows.
- Architect and support integrations between ServiceNow SPM, ITSM, and Azure DevOps to streamline portfolio and delivery management processes.
- Translate complex business and portfolio management requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps.
- Lead enterprise workflow automation, service management optimization, CMDB governance, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers, administrators, business analysts, and project teams.
- Drive platform governance, performance optimization, release management, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.

What you need to have to be considered
Candidates who do not possess ALL required certifications listed below will not be considered for this opportunity.
- Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
- Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is required.
- Active ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Strategic Portfolio Management (CIS-SPM) certification is required.
- 8+ years of ServiceNow platform architecture, implementation, and solution design experience.
- Proven hands-on expertise implementing and supporting ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
- Experience designing and implementing portfolio management, demand management, project management, Agile development, Sprint, and Kanban capabilities within ServiceNow.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform configuration, development, integrations, and workflow automation.
- Experience architecting enterprise ServiceNow solutions and establishing platform governance standards.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with Azure DevOps or similar Agile delivery platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence business and technical leaders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams and enterprise transformation initiatives.

- Experience leading enterprise portfolio management and Agile transformation programs.
- Expertise with ServiceNow CMDB, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and platform governance frameworks.
- Experience establishing enterprise architecture standards and ServiceNow centers of excellence.
- Experience supporting large-scale ServiceNow implementations across complex organizations.
- Knowledge of IT operations, service management, governance, risk, and compliance processes.
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $108,000 - $125,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
