About the role
As a Business Analyst - ServiceNow, you will make an impact by driving successful ServiceNow implementations and enhancements through effective requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, and Agile delivery practices. You will be a valued member of the ServiceNow delivery team and work collaboratively with business leaders, product owners, technical teams, and client stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders, process owners, and technical teams to capture and document end-to-end business requirements.
Translate complex business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications that support ServiceNow solution delivery.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups while collaborating closely with business and technical teams.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document defects, and partner with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and key metrics to stakeholders and leadership teams.
Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and issues while proactively managing stakeholder expectations.
Manage scope changes and support change request processes to ensure project objectives remain aligned with business goals.

What you need to have to be considered
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Systems Analyst within an IT environment.
3+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), Field Service Management (FSM), or Asset Management.
Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Strong experience working in Agile and Scrum delivery environments, including backlog management and sprint planning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
Experience working in complex, multi-vendor client environments.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
These will help you stand out
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other ServiceNow certifications.
Experience supporting enterprise-wide ServiceNow implementations or transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
Experience creating process maps, workflow documentation, and business process improvements.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $100K - $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
