About the role
As a Product Manager – Pharmacy Benefits Management, you will make an impact by defining product strategy, driving portfolio investment decisions, and leading the evolution of business-critical capabilities across the PBM technology landscape. You will be a valued member of the product organization and work collaboratively with product, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions that support business growth and customer value.
In this role, you will:
Define and own product vision, strategic objectives, and roadmap priorities, driving decisions related to new capabilities, enhancements, and product lifecycle management
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, design, and business teams to align priorities, communicate strategy, and build consensus for roadmap execution
Translate stakeholder requirements, market intelligence, industry trends, competitive insights, and PBM best practices into actionable product investments and platform priorities
Manage portfolio performance, investment decisions, and resource allocation while evaluating opportunities to enhance, modernize, optimize, or retire capabilities
Drive execution by converting strategy into actionable plans, coordinating delivery across teams, and ensuring accountability for business outcomes and product success
Work model – Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, or Querétaro, Mexico. What you must have to be considered
2–3 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Product Strategy, Business Analysis, or related product-focused roles
Experience supporting product strategy, roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and product lifecycle management activities
Experience collaborating with product, engineering, design, and business teams to deliver successful product outcomes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams
Ability to translate customer needs, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business requirements into actionable product priorities
Experience supporting product portfolio management, prioritization decisions, and investment trade-off evaluations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage business intelligence and structured decision-making techniques
Experience driving execution from requirements through delivery while maintaining accountability for business outcomes
Understanding of compliance, governance, and regulatory considerations impacting product decisions
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
These will help you succeed
Experience within Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), healthcare technology, healthcare operations, or other regulated industries
Experience leveraging business intelligence and analytics to support product decision-making
Experience with Agile product delivery methodologies and product management tools
Exposure to portfolio performance measurement and value realization frameworks
Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and industry practices
Experience mentoring peers, sharing knowledge, or contributing to team development
Experience balancing innovation initiatives with governance, risk, and compliance requirements
