Job Summary

Consulting Manager role in a global organization responsible for driving strategic transformation and operational excellence for property and casualty insurance clients. The individual will plan and deliver complex consulting engagements mentor teams and apply deep domain expertise to improve underwriting claims policy administration and customer experience across hybrid work model and day shift assignments.


Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end consulting engagements for property and casualty insurance clients by defining scope objectives and measurable outcomes that improve underwriting policy administration claims processing and customer service efficiency in alignment with client strategy and company goals.
  • Guide clients through current state assessment of property and casualty operations by analyzing workflows systems data quality and control frameworks to identify transformation opportunities that reduce loss ratios enhance risk selection and streamline regulatory compliance.
  • Develop detailed solution recommendations for policy lifecycle optimization by designing target operating models process changes and technology enablement that deliver faster quote to bind cycles accurate rating and consistent coverage administration for multiple product lines.
  • Coordinate day to day consulting delivery activities in a hybrid work environment by planning sprints allocating tasks tracking progress and ensuring timely stakeholder communication so that projects remain on schedule and within budgets for all assigned engagements.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and claims teams of client organizations to translate business challenges into structured consulting initiatives that improve case triage fraud detection subrogation recovery and claims settlement accuracy using data driven insights and pragmatic process changes.
  • Create clear and compelling consulting artifacts including diagnostic reports business requirement documents journey maps and executive ready presentations that explain complex property and casualty concepts in practical language for business and technology stakeholders.
  • Apply advanced analytical methods to policy and claims data by identifying trends leakage drivers and portfolio performance issues so that clients can refine rating strategies improve reinsurance decisions and enhance overall profitability while maintaining regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Coordinate with technology implementation teams to ensure consulting recommendations for property and casualty platforms such as policy administration and claims solutions are realistically actionable and properly sequenced enabling smooth handover from advisory phase to execution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the consulting practice by documenting lessons learned from each engagement standardizing best practices for property and casualty projects and contributing to reusable frameworks and accelerators that enhance delivery quality across the organization.
  • Engage proactively with client senior stakeholders during day shift meetings to clarify expectations present progress updates manage dependencies and resolve issues in a structured manner to maintain high satisfaction and build long term advisory relationships without requiring frequent travel.
  • Mentor junior consultants and business analysts by providing domain guidance on property and casualty insurance concepts reviewing deliverables and encouraging rigorous problem solving approaches that uphold consulting standards and strengthen the capability of the broader team.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by preparing proposals effort estimates and value narratives for property and casualty consulting opportunities highlighting the organization capability to improve operational resilience customer trust and market competitiveness for prospective clients.

Qualifications
  • Bring proven experience in property and casualty insurance with solid exposure to underwriting policy administration and claims operations and apply this expertise to diagnose client challenges and shape targeted consulting interventions that deliver practical business value.
  • Demonstrate strong consulting skills with ability to structure problems perform root cause analysis and communicate solutions clearly so that both technical and business stakeholders can act on recommendations without ambiguity in a hybrid work setting.
  • Show deep familiarity with property and casualty insurance products such as commercial lines and personal lines and use this understanding to tailor process optimization and operating model designs to specific risk profiles coverage types and channel strategies.
  • Exhibit proficiency in business analysis and requirements gathering by eliciting needs from client teams documenting them in a detailed yet accessible manner and validating them through structured walkthroughs that minimize rework and project risk.
  • Leverage knowledge of core insurance systems including policy and claims platforms to align consulting deliverables with practical implementation constraints ensuring that proposed solutions can be integrated smoothly into existing technology environments.
  • Apply analytical and data interpretation skills to evaluate portfolio performance operational metrics and customer outcomes enabling data driven decisions that enhance profitability service quality and fairness in coverage and claims handling.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities in day shift engagements by facilitating workshops leading discussions and managing expectations in a professional manner that fosters trust and collaborative problem solving.
  • Possess experience in hybrid work models with proven ability to organize tasks use collaboration tools and maintain productivity and accountability across onsite and remote interactions aligning team efforts with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Display familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in property and casualty insurance by incorporating relevant requirements into consulting advice thereby supporting clients in maintaining robust governance and responsible market conduct.
  • Show capability to guide and coach consulting colleagues by sharing domain insights reviewing outputs and providing structured feedback that raises the overall quality of client deliverables and contributes to the maturity of the consulting practice.

  • Demonstrate time management and organizational discipline appropriate for mid senior consulting positions with eight to ten years of experience by balancing multiple engagements meeting deadlines and maintaining documentation quality across the consulting lifecycle.
