About the role
As a Data Architect, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable, cloud‑based data solutions that enable reliable analytics and drive business insights. You will be a valued member of the Data and Analytics team and collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to build secure, high‑performance architectures using modern data technologies.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using DBT Cloud, AWS, SQL, and Python
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans
- Lead the development and integration of data pipelines and transformation workflows to ensure consistent and reliable data availability
- Provide technical guidance on cloud‑based solutions with a focus on performance, security, and best practices
- Optimize database schemas, queries, and data models to improve efficiency and scalability
- Monitor and troubleshoot data platform issues to ensure stable and uninterrupted operations
- Conduct technical assessments of existing systems and recommend improvements
- Develop and maintain clear documentation for architecture designs, processes, and workflows
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging trends in cloud computing, data engineering, and analytics to drive innovation
Work model
We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position.
Working arrangements may change based on project and business needs, and we will always be clear about role expectations.
What you must have to be considered
- 10 to 14 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related roles
- Strong hands‑on experience with DBT Cloud and data transformation frameworks
- In‑depth experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Advanced SQL skills with proven ability to optimize database performance
- Strong Python development experience for data processing and automation
- Proven track record designing and delivering cloud‑based data solutions at scale
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
These will help you stand out
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
- DBT Fundamentals certification
- Experience working in modern analytics or data platform environments
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models
- Passion for continuous learning and technology innovation
