We are seeking an experienced nCino Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of end-to-end nCino-based lending solutions on the Salesforce platform for multiple financial institution clients. In this senior client-facing role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring that solutions are scalable, compliant, and fit-for-purpose across the entire lending lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Design & Architecture: Design and implement lending solutions using nCino on Salesforce, following nCino and Salesforce best practices and gold-standard architectural guidelines. Ensure solutions are scalable across Commercial, Retail, and Corporate banking.
• Architectural Leadership: Own the fit-gap analysis, solution blueprinting, and key architecture decisions for each project. Provide guidance on optimal design approaches to meet business requirements and technical constraints.
• Domain Expertise: Leverage deep expertise in nCino Bank Operating System modules (e.g., Loan Origination, Credit, Collateral, Covenants) to craft effective solutions. Translate complex banking and lending workflows into robust nCino configurations and processes.
• Integration Strategy: Define integration architecture between nCino/Salesforce and core banking systems or third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
• Governance & Compliance: Oversee solution quality, security standards, performance tuning, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure delivered solutions meet high standards and adhere to banking regulations and data privacy requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders. Collaborate closely with client teams to clarify requirements, present architectural recommendations, and align solutions with business goals.
• Team Leadership & Pre-Sales: Mentor and guide technical delivery teams, promoting best practices and standards. Support project scoping, effort estimations, RFP responses, and pre-sales solutioning activities. Influence strategic technology decisions and contribute to thought leadership in lending transformation.
• Client Advisory: Advise clients on industry best practices in digital lending and on regulatory considerations impacting lending platforms. Help shape clients’ digital transformation roadmaps and ensure our solutions foster their business objectives.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
• Extensive Banking & nCino Experience: 10–15 years of experience in banking technology or financial services IT, including at least 5 years hands-on working with nCino solutions on the Salesforce platform (designing, building, and deploying complex lending solutions).
• Technical Leadership: Proven track record of owning solution architecture for large-scale Salesforce/nCino implementations, preferably for multiple banking clients. Experience in a consulting or client-facing role delivering technical solutions is strongly preferred.
• Salesforce Proficiency: Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem and architecture (Salesforce certifications at advanced levels strongly desired). Solid understanding of how to leverage Salesforce capabilities in an nCino context.
Preferred Certifications:
• nCino Certifications: nCino Bank Operating System certifications (e.g., nCino Platform or Commercial Banking certification) – highly preferred.
• Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Architect-level credentials (e.g., Certified Application Architect / System Architect) or other advanced Salesforce certifications.
• Enterprise Architecture: TOGAF or a similar enterprise architecture certification (optional, nice to have).
