Job Summary
Serve as an insurance claims support specialist within a global organization using MS Office to analyze documentation prepare reports and maintain accurate claim records. Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid and rotational shift model to drive efficient claim resolution enhance customer satisfaction and support underwriting and risk decisions where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Review claim submissions and associated documentation using MS Office tools to ensure completeness accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Analyze claim data and supporting evidence to identify trends discrepancies and risk indicators that can influence claim outcomes and process improvements
- Prepare clear claim status reports spreadsheets and summaries in MS Office to support timely decision making by internal stakeholders and client facing teams
- Coordinate with operations underwriting support teams and other business units to clarify claim details and resolve open issues within defined turnaround times
- Maintain organized digital claim files and tracking logs to ensure that all actions decisions and communications are documented and easily auditable
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding claim status policy coverage and required documentation in a professional and timely manner to enhance service quality
- Support process optimization initiatives by documenting current workflows identifying pain points and suggesting practical improvements for claims handling
- Assist in conducting quality checks on claims cases to verify adherence to standard operating procedures and to minimize rework and financial leakage
- Utilize MS Office for creating templates trackers and checklists that help standardize claim handling and improve team productivity across hybrid work settings
- Collaborate with colleagues across rotational shifts to ensure seamless handover of claim portfolios and continuity of service for internal and external partners
- Contribute to the development of knowledge repositories such as claim scenarios frequently asked questions and process notes to support continuous learning across the team
- Safeguard sensitive claim information by following data privacy guidelines and company information security standards in all documentation and communication activities
- Support business goals by helping achieve defined service levels accuracy targets and customer satisfaction metrics which ultimately strengthen trust in insurance services
Qualifications
- Possess hands on experience using MS Office applications including word processing spreadsheets and presentations to manage and analyze insurance claim information
- Demonstrate the ability to interpret policy terms claim forms and supporting documents with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
- Exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills that enable clear collaboration with operations underwriting support and other cross functional stakeholders
- Show capability to work in a hybrid model and rotational shifts while maintaining consistent productivity and accountability for assigned claim tasks
- Preferably bring exposure to underwriting support or insurance operations with an understanding of how accurate claims handling contributes to sound risk selection and pricing
- Display strong organizational and time management skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple claim files and meet demanding turnaround expectations
- Adapt quickly to new claim processing tools templates and guidelines while remaining committed to continuous improvement and professional growth
Certifications Required
Certification in insurance claims or underwriting for example general insurance certification or associate in claims is preferred but not mandatory
