Job summary
Serve as a Business System Analyst within a global financial organization translating complex banking and wealth management requirements into clear actionable solutions that enhance client value and operational efficiency while aligning with accounting standards and scalable digital strategies for a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business partners across banking and wealth management functions to capture detailed requirements that ensure financial products align with accounting rules and regulatory expectations for sustainable growth in global markets.
- Analyze existing banking and wealth management processes to identify gaps inefficiencies and control weaknesses then propose optimized workflows that improve data integrity client outcomes and operational resilience.
- Document detailed business requirements user stories and process flows in a structured and traceable manner so that technology and operations teams can deliver changes that consistently meet stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate with technology teams to validate that functional specifications solution designs and configuration choices accurately reflect banking and wealth management business needs and accounting treatments.
- Perform impact assessments for new initiatives or regulatory changes evaluating how proposed solutions affect upstream and downstream systems accounting entries reports and client experiences.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria that validate system behavior accounting postings and wealth management calculations against expected business outcomes.
- Support production releases by preparing readiness documentation assisting with cutover planning and monitoring initial execution so that issues are detected early and resolved with minimal disruption.
- Engage with finance risk and operations stakeholders to interpret complex accounting and wealth data transforming insights into recommendations that strengthen controls and improve decision making.
- Prepare clear and concise business communications such as requirement summaries and solution overviews that enable senior stakeholders to make informed decisions about priorities and investment.
- Provide guidance to team members and partner analysts on domain topics in banking and wealth management fostering shared understanding of accounting concepts and standardized analysis practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned from each project recommending enhancements to requirement templates analysis methods and testing approaches to raise delivery quality.
- Align every initiative with the organization mission to provide secure transparent and inclusive financial services that promote long term client prosperity and broader societal trust in financial systems.
- Adapt effectively to a hybrid work model by using digital collaboration tools to maintain strong stakeholder engagement and timely progress updates across locations and time zones.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate five to eight years of focused experience as a business analyst within banking or financial services with consistent exposure to accounting flows ledger behavior and financial reporting processes.
- Apply strong knowledge of banking products such as deposits loans and payment services to interpret business requirements and anticipate system and data impacts with minimal rework.
- Use practical experience in wealth management to analyze portfolios investment products advisory services and associated fee structures so that solutions reflect real world client needs.
- Exhibit solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements enabling accurate mapping of transactions events and valuations into accounting treatments within core systems.
- Leverage strong analytical thinking data interpretation and problem solving skills to break down complex issues into structured options and evidence based recommendations for stakeholders.
- Communicate clearly in spoken and written form with diverse business and technology audiences ensuring that complex banking and wealth concepts are expressed in simple actionable terms.
- Utilize experience working in hybrid distributed teams to manage time effectively coordinate with colleagues across locations and sustain productive collaboration without frequent travel.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000- $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
