Job summary
GeoSpatial Developer DotNet with strong Camstar MES experience will design and implement geospatial enabled enterprise applications for a global organization working in a hybrid model during day shifts collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver scalable secure and high performing solutions that enhance operational visibility and business decision making.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust geospatial applications using DotNet technologies that integrate spatial data with Camstar MES to improve manufacturing visibility and operational efficiency.
- Implement efficient data models and services that combine map based insights with production data to support near real time monitoring and analytics for stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Build reusable application components and APIs that ensure consistent handling of geospatial layers spatial queries and MES events while maintaining high standards for performance and reliability.
- Optimize existing DotNet and Camstar MES integrations by refactoring code improving database interactions and fine tuning service configuration to reduce latency and increase throughput.
- Collaborate closely with product owners business analysts and MES engineers to translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.
- Conduct detailed impact analysis for new features and changes by assessing implications on geospatial components Camstar MES workflows and downstream reporting systems.
- Ensure high quality deliverables by writing unit tests integration tests and performing peer reviews that validate functional correctness security and resilience of geospatial features.
- Apply secure coding practices and compliance guidelines to protect sensitive operational and location data while aligning with organizational risk and regulatory expectations.
- Troubleshoot complex production incidents related to geospatial services DotNet APIs and Camstar MES interfaces by performing root cause analysis and implementing durable corrective actions.
- Prepare clear technical documentation including solution designs deployment runbooks and support guides that help teams operate and enhance the geospatial MES ecosystem.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and cloud teams to configure environments for optimal hosting of geospatial services including scalability monitoring and disaster recovery readiness.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities by evaluating new geospatial frameworks DotNet features and MES capabilities and proposing upgrades that deliver tangible value to the organization.
- Mentor less experienced engineers by sharing practical guidance on DotNet best practices geospatial concepts and Camstar MES patterns to uplift overall team capability.
Qualifications
- Posess a bachelor degree or higher in computer science information technology or a related discipline with professional experience focused on enterprise application development.
- Bring eight to twelve years of hands on experience in DotNet development including strong proficiency in C Sharp ASP DotNet and web services for large scale business applications.
- Demonstrate proven experience implementing and customizing Camstar MES solutions including configuration of workflows integration with external systems and troubleshooting of shop floor issues.
- Exhibit solid understanding of geospatial concepts such as coordinate systems spatial data models and mapping services along with experience using relevant libraries or platforms.
- Show practical experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server including design of schemas stored procedures and optimization techniques for handling spatial and MES data.
- Utilize strong skills in API design and integration including REST based services message based communication and secure data exchange across enterprise applications.
- Display proficiency with source control tools continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment practices used in modern hybrid work environments.
- Communicate complex technical topics clearly to technical and nontechnical partners while collaborating effectively in distributed teams operating in hybrid work arrangements.
- Value continuous learning by staying current with advancements in DotNet geospatial technologies and MES solutions and by applying these learnings to improve delivery outcomes.
