SAP Vistex DMR Consultant

Job Summary

This hybrid role is for a Technology Architect with extensive experience in SAP Vistex and related components focusing on industrial manufacturing production planning control and environment health and safety domains. The architect will design scalable solutions guide implementation teams and ensure robust integration of Vistex data objects and customer solutions into complex enterprise landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive architecture solutions for SAP Vistex and related components that align with enterprise standards and support resilient and scalable business processes in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Analyze existing SAP landscapes with Vistex components to identify optimization opportunities and define future state architectures that improve performance maintainability and cost efficiency.
• Drive end to end solution design for Vistex data objects by defining data models integration patterns and governance approaches that ensure accuracy consistency and traceability across systems.
• Develop detailed architectures for Vistex customer processes that support complex pricing incentives and rebates while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with functional experts in production planning and control for industrial manufacturing to translate business scenarios into technical solutions using SAP Vistex and core SAP modules.
• Collaborate with environment health and safety stakeholders to design Vistex enabled solutions that support safety monitoring incident tracking and regulatory reporting within the broader SAP ecosystem.
• Provide architectural oversight during SAP Vistex solution implementation by reviewing design documents monitoring configuration decisions and ensuring adherence to approved patterns and reference architectures.
• Guide development teams in implementing Vistex and V4 components by offering clear technical guidance reviewing code and configuration and resolving complex design issues in a timely manner.
• Define integration strategies between SAP Vistex core SAP modules and external systems that support secure reliable and performant data exchange across hybrid landscapes.
• Establish nonfunctional requirements for SAP Vistex solutions covering performance scalability security and observability and ensure that these requirements are validated through systematic testing and performance tuning activities.
• Create detailed technical documentation for Vistex architectures data flows configuration decisions and integration points to enable long term maintainability and effective knowledge transfer to delivery and support teams.
• Engage with business stakeholders to explain solution options articulate architectural tradeoffs and ensure that technology decisions remain aligned with strategic objectives and compliance expectations.
• Participate in hybrid working practices by collaborating effectively with distributed teams using digital tools and by ensuring architectural decisions are documented and communicated clearly to all participants.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in SAP Vistex solution landscapes by monitoring system behavior analyzing incident patterns and proposing incremental enhancements that reduce risk and improve usability.
  

Qualifications

• Require professional experience of twelve to sixteen years in enterprise technology roles with significant focus on architecture design and solution governance in SAP centric environments.
• Require strong hands on expertise with SAP Vistex including configuration extensibility options and integration techniques across core SAP and satellite systems.
• Require practical experience with Vistex data objects involving design of data models data quality controls and strategies for handling large data volumes in complex manufacturing scenarios.
• Require proven experience in designing and optimizing Vistex customer solutions that handle complex agreements pricing structures and incentive processes for industrial clients.
• Require solid exposure to SAP Vistex V4 capabilities with the ability to evaluate new features assess their relevance to client landscapes and plan adoption roadmaps.
• Require deep domain understanding of production planning and control within industrial manufacturing including typical process flows constraints and reporting needs supported by SAP solutions.
• Require working knowledge of environment health and safety processes with the ability to interpret safety requirements and embed them into SAP and Vistex solution designs.
• Require familiarity with hybrid work models and distributed delivery practices with strong communication skills to coordinate designs reviews and decisions across global teams.
• Prefer experience in performance tuning for SAP and Vistex solutions with emphasis on high volume transaction processing and reporting in manufacturing contexts.
• Prefer prior involvement in large scale SAP transformation or modernization programs where SAP Vistex played a central role in commercial and operational processes.
• Prefer experience in mentoring technical professionals in architecture disciplines and in promoting best practices for documentation design reviews and reuse of patterns.
• Prefer exposure to cloud ready architectures for SAP including integration of SAP Vistex with cloud services and modern integration technologies while maintaining security and compliance.
• Prefer strong analytical mindset and problem solving skills with consistent focus on delivering solutions that create measurable value for clients and broader society.

Certifications Required

SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Vistex or equivalent SAP certification related to Vistex and SAP architecture
