About the role
As a Procure-to-Pay Process Lead, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end Procure-to-Pay transformation workstreams for global supply chain and finance transformation programs. You will help clients redesign procurement and accounts payable processes, define future-state operating models, identify AI-enabled procurement opportunities, and guide stakeholders through complex business transformation.
You will work closely with business executives, procurement leaders, finance teams, IT organizations, and consulting delivery teams to shape transformation roadmaps and deliver measurable process improvement across procurement, sourcing, accounts payable, and supplier collaboration.
In this role, you will
- Lead global process design workshops across Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, Requisition-to-Receipt, Invoice-to-Pay, and Supplier Onboarding and Governance, helping clients align on future-state business processes and operating models.
- Define future-state operating models, process blueprints, and harmonized procurement processes across regions to support global transformation outcomes.
- Lead process assessments and maturity evaluations, translate business needs into requirements, and develop solution recommendations that support transformation business cases and value realization.
- Identify automation and AI opportunities across procurement and accounts payable processes, including supplier onboarding automation, requisition creation assistants, intelligent buying assistants, invoice matching automation, duplicate invoice detection, AP exception resolution, and AI-driven spend insights.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across procurement, finance, business, and IT to present transformation roadmaps, executive updates, and delivery recommendations.
Required skills: what you need to be considered
- 12+ years of experience in procurement and supply chain consulting.
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong functional understanding of strategic sourcing, procurement operations, contract management, supplier management, and accounts payable processes.
- Experience designing global templates, future-state operating models, process blueprints, and harmonized business processes across regions.
- Ability to engage business executives, procurement leaders, finance teams, and IT organizations while presenting transformation roadmaps and executive-level updates.
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
- Experience with Oracle Fusion in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or accounts payable transformation environments.
- Experience applying GenAI or agentic AI concepts to procurement transformation use cases.
- Practical experience shaping AI-enabled procurement capabilities such as intelligent buying, invoice automation, AP exception handling, and AI-driven spend insights.
- Strong ability to connect process transformation, digital enablement, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business value.

Compensation
The annual salary for this position is expected to be between 105,000 CAD and $160,000 CAD, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
