Job Summary
Design and optimize S4 HANA solutions as a Technology Architect focusing on SAP UI5 ABAP OData services and S4 HANA data modeling for complex enterprise landscapes in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable architectures that support operational excellence in automotive and production focused environments while ensuring high performance and maintainability across systems.
Responsibilities
- Design robust S4 HANA solution architectures that align with enterprise standards and business strategies to ensure scalable and maintainable digital platforms for global operations
- Develop detailed end to end designs for S4 HANA UI5 ABAP OData services that enable secure efficient and user friendly business applications for critical operational processes
- Configure and optimize S4 HANA data models including CDS views and analytical models to support high performance reporting and transaction processing for complex process landscapes
- Collaborate with functional consultants and process experts to translate business requirements into technical designs that streamline operations in automotive and production environments
- Review existing SAP solutions and identify optimization opportunities in performance scalability and usability to continuously enhance value delivered to business stakeholders
- Guide development teams by providing clear technical specifications design patterns and coding best practices to ensure consistent high quality delivery of SAP solutions
- Conduct architecture and code reviews for UI5 ABAP OData and data modeling components to maintain compliance with enterprise guidelines and reduce technical debt over time
- Coordinate with basis security and infrastructure teams to ensure that S4 HANA landscapes are resilient secure and aligned with capacity and performance expectations for day shift operations
- Prepare reference architectures technical documentation and solution blueprints to support reuse knowledge sharing and faster onboarding of project team members across hybrid work environments
- Engage with product owners and business partners to validate solution feasibility assess risks and recommend mitigation actions that protect project timelines and business continuity
- Analyze system usage performance metrics and incident trends to proactively propose enhancements that improve user experience and reduce operational disruptions in production processes
- Support deployment activities including cutover planning data validation and post go live stabilization to ensure smooth transitions and minimal impact on daily business activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by exploring new S4 HANA capabilities tools and frameworks that can enhance operational efficiency and sustainability outcomes for the organization and society
Qualifications
- Combine eight to twelve years of experience in SAP landscapes with strong focus on S4 HANA architecture delivering end to end solutions for complex enterprise environments
- Demonstrate hands on expertise in designing and implementing UI5 applications and ABAP OData services that enable intuitive and responsive user experiences for business users
- Apply advanced S4 HANA data modeling skills including CDS views AMDP and analytical models to build performant and flexible structures that support reporting and operational analytics
- Utilize understanding of operations and production management concepts to shape solutions that improve throughput quality and resource utilization in manufacturing oriented contexts
- Leverage exposure to automotive industry processes such as production planning logistics and quality to propose architectures that align with industry best practices and regulatory needs
- Communicate complex technical concepts in clear language to stakeholders from different backgrounds enabling informed decision making and effective collaboration in hybrid work setups
- Adapt to evolving technologies by staying current with S4 HANA innovations and related cloud services ensuring that proposed architectures remain modern sustainable and aligned with organizational goals
