About the role
We are looking for an experienced Technology Architect specializing in Oracle Cloud ERP integrations, with deep expertise in Oracle File Based Data Import (FBDI) and Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL). This role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and resilient data integration and migration solutions that enable accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and business growth within a hybrid delivery model.
In this role you will
- Design end-to-end Oracle Cloud ERP integration architectures using FBDI and HCM Data Loader for scalable and reliable data flows.
- Develop target-state integration blueprints connecting Oracle ERP with upstream and downstream systems.
- Create reusable data ingestion frameworks and technical patterns to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Collaborate with business, consulting, and analytics teams to translate requirements into detailed integration designs and data mapping specifications.
- Configure and manage HCM Data Loader templates, business objects, and load strategies for large-scale workforce data migrations and updates.
- Optimize File Based Data Import processes, including validation rules, error handling, and reconciliation strategies.
- Tune batch processing and integration workflows to meet performance SLAs and minimize operational risk.
- Implement secure data integration solutions with strong controls, encryption, and role-based access.
- Partner with analytics teams to enable reporting, reconciliation, and insights from ERP and HCM data.
- Support testing cycles by defining test scenarios, validating data loads, and resolving integration defects.
- Produce architecture documentation, integration diagrams, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior team members on Oracle ERP integrations and best practices.
- Engage stakeholders in a hybrid model to align on technical solutions and long-term value.

Remote with Milestone travel to NYC
What you need to have to be considered
- 10+ years of enterprise technology experience, including strong focus on Oracle Cloud ERP and integration solutions.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle File Based Data Import (FBDI) across large-scale implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle HCM Data Loader (HDL), including templates, business objects, and load strategies.
- Strong background in IT consulting with experience managing client stakeholders and delivering complex solutions.
- Experience designing data architectures and integrations that support analytics and reporting.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, define requirements, and propose scalable architecture solutions.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working effectively in a hybrid delivery model using collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with expertise in troubleshooting data load failures and integration issues.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $74,250 - $100,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
