Job Summary
Serve as a senior functional analyst in the ISG organization translating complex business needs into scalable cloud enabled solutions using AWS and Azure within a hybrid work model. Collaborate with cross functional teams to design validate and enhance digital products that improve operational efficiency strengthen customer experience and support sustainable business growth across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit analyze and document detailed functional requirements for cloud enabled solutions using AWS and Azure while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and standards.
- Translate business requirements into well structured functional specifications user stories and acceptance criteria that guide development teams and reduce ambiguity in solution delivery.
- Coordinate with architecture and engineering teams to define end to end solution designs that leverage AWS and Azure services in a secure scalable and cost optimized manner.
- Review and validate technical design documents and configuration proposals to ensure they accurately implement defined functional requirements and comply with organizational guidelines.
- Partner with product owners to prioritize feature backlogs refine epics and stories and plan releases that deliver measurable value within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Develop detailed process flows data mappings and use case documentation that clarify system interactions and support accurate implementation and testing activities.
- Create comprehensive functional test scenarios and support system integration regression and user acceptance testing to confirm that delivered solutions meet expected outcomes.
- Analyze production incidents and defects by reviewing logs functional flows and user feedback to identify root causes and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
- Collaborate with security compliance and risk teams to ensure that cloud based solutions on AWS and Azure adhere to regulatory obligations and internal control frameworks.
- Conduct impact assessments for change requests by evaluating dependencies risks and benefits and share clear recommendations to enable informed decision making.
- Prepare and deliver clear functional documentation training content and knowledge transfer sessions that help operational teams adopt new capabilities with confidence.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities by reviewing metrics gathering feedback and proposing enhancements that increase reliability usability and efficiency of cloud enabled solutions.
- Coordinate across geographically distributed teams through hybrid work practices to maintain effective communication transparency and accountability in day to day operations.
- Ensure that solutions support the company mission by enabling secure and sustainable digital services that improve experiences for customers and communities.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience working as a functional analyst or business systems analyst with a focus on designing and implementing solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Demonstrate strong practical experience with core AWS services and Azure services including compute storage databases networking and monitoring capabilities.
- Exhibit proficiency in requirements engineering including stakeholder analysis process modeling documentation of use cases and definition of measurable acceptance criteria.
- Show hands on experience collaborating with agile delivery teams using practices such as backlog refinement sprint planning daily standups and iterative releases.
- Display solid understanding of integration patterns APIs and data flows across enterprise systems in order to design robust and resilient functional solutions.
- Bring familiarity with cloud security and compliance considerations including identity and access management data protection and environment segregation within AWS and Azure.
- Hold strong analytical and problem solving skills that enable careful evaluation of complex business issues and formulation of feasible solution options.
- Possess clear written and verbal communication skills that support collaboration with technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional and Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent cloud certification.
