Job Summary
We are seeking an IAM Operations Analyst with strong expertise in identity governance, access provisioning, and access management operations. This role is responsible for managing secure and compliant access across enterprise applications, systems, cloud platforms, and data environments. The ideal candidate will support identity lifecycle management, entitlement administration, access reviews, governance controls, audit activities, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This position requires hands-on experience with IAM/IGA platforms, access governance processes, and enterprise identity operations.
In this role, you will:
· Execute Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes including user provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, and entitlement administration.
· Manage day-to-day IAM operations and ensure access requests, incidents, and service activities are completed within defined SLAs.
· Perform access reviews, certification campaigns, entitlement validation, and remediation activities across enterprise systems.
· Support application onboarding, role modeling, access governance processes, RBAC implementation, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
· Administer user identities, roles, entitlements, and access controls across cloud, on-premises, and enterprise applications.
· Collaborate with business, security, audit, and application teams to ensure compliance with identity governance standards and access control policies.
· Support audit activities by preparing evidence, generating reports, responding to audit requests, and tracking remediation actions.
· Monitor IAM controls and governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
· Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and governance records related to IAM operations.
· Identify opportunities to improve IAM processes, automation, operational efficiency, and compliance maturity.
What you need to have to be considered
· 4–8 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management, or Security Operations.
· Strong expertise in IAM Operations, Access Provisioning, Deprovisioning, Access Reviews, and Identity Lifecycle Management.
· Experience with Identity Governance, Compliance Support, Access Certification Campaigns, Governance Controls, and Audit Readiness activities.
· Hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ/ISC, Okta, CyberArk, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, ServiceNow, One Identity Manager, or Ping Identity.
· Strong understanding of RBAC, SoD, least-privilege access models, entitlement management, and access governance principles.
· Experience supporting SOX, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST, internal audits, evidence preparation, and remediation tracking.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
· Ability to work in cross-functional environments supporting security, compliance, application, and infrastructure teams.
· Preferred certifications include SailPoint, Saviynt, SC-300, Okta, CyberArk, Security+, CISSP, or equivalent identity and security certifications.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[114,500 - 134,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
