Job Summary

This hybrid Test Lead role focuses on designing and executing high quality functional testing for insurance products using modern automation tools and agile practices. The role involves managing end to end test planning execution and reporting across Azure DevOps Jira and related platforms while ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met for financial and insurance solutions. Responsibilities

• Drive comprehensive test planning activities for insurance and financial applications by defining detailed scope test objectives and entry and exit criteria to ensure robust coverage across functional and non functional aspects of the solution.
• Coordinate all phases of functional testing using Azure DevOps by organizing test suites test data and execution cycles to provide clear traceability from requirements to defects and releases.
• Develop maintain and optimize automated test scripts using Selenium Cucumber and UiPath to accelerate regression coverage while maintaining high accuracy and low maintenance overhead in fast changing environments.
• Apply agile methodologies by participating in backlog grooming sprint planning daily standups and sprint reviews to align testing priorities with evolving business and technical requirements.
• Use Jira and Azure DevOps to track user stories defects and test execution progress while generating meaningful dashboards and status reports that support data driven decision making for stakeholders.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and conversational AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve efficiency in creating test scripts generating test data and documenting test scenarios while ensuring all generated content meets project quality standards.
• Perform detailed functional testing for insurance products and FTI FCC scenarios by validating policy lifecycle claims processing billing and compliance rules to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines.
• Conduct integration and end to end testing across multiple systems and interfaces including upstream and downstream financial platforms to validate data consistency business rules and overall process reliability.
• Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product teams to clarify requirements refine acceptance criteria and resolve defects rapidly thereby minimizing rework and enhancing overall delivery quality.
• Implement risk based testing approaches by prioritizing high impact scenarios such as financial calculations customer journeys and regulatory reporting to optimize test effort and reduce production incidents.
• Provide clear concise and constructive defect analysis by identifying root causes capturing detailed reproduction steps and recommending potential solution areas which helps reduce time to fix and future recurrence.
• Mentor junior test professionals by sharing best practices for automation agile testing and domain specific knowledge in insurance and finance while encouraging continuous improvement and learning across the team.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of test strategies test cases automation frameworks and execution evidence so that audits regulatory reviews and future maintenance activities can be supported efficiently.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality metrics production defects and feedback from business partners to enhance test processes tools and standards in alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Possess strong hands on experience with Azure DevOps Jira and agile methodologies demonstrating the ability to manage user stories test cases pipelines and release workflows within complex enterprise programs.
• Exhibit deep practical skills in Selenium Cucumber and UiPath automation with a proven track record of designing modular reusable and maintainable frameworks tailored for functional and regression testing of enterprise applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using conversational AI tools including ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test design documentation and code generation while maintaining strict quality control and ethical usage practices.
• Bring solid domain knowledge in insurance products and functional testing of FTI FCC scenarios including understanding of policy administration claims handling billing processes and compliance requirements.
• Show working familiarity with finance and accounting concepts such as general ledger reconciliations premium accounting and financial reporting which is considered a strong advantage for this role.
• Display excellent analytical communication and collaboration skills enabling effective interaction with cross functional agile teams business partners and technical stakeholders in a hybrid work environment.
• Commit to continuous learning by staying updated on advances in test automation cloud technologies regulatory trends in insurance and finance and new capabilities in AI driven productivity tools.
