Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Tester with strong expertise in Financial Crime, AML, Fraud Detection, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, and Compliance platforms. The candidate will be responsible for validating large-scale data processing, ETL pipelines, data quality, regulatory reporting, fraud analytics, and risk monitoring solutions. The role involves close collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Compliance SMEs, and Product Owners to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. The domain typically supports investigation platforms, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, case management, and financial crime analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate source-to-target data mappings.
• Perform ETL and Data Warehouse testing.
• Verify data transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
• Conduct reconciliation testing between source and target systems.
• Execute SQL-based backend validation.
• Validate batch and real-time data feeds.

• Test AML transaction-monitoring scenarios.
• Validate fraud-detection rules and alert generation.
• Verify suspicious activity workflows and case creation.
• Test customer-risk profiling processes.
• Validate sanctions-screening and watchlist matching.
• Ensure KYC and customer due-diligence data accuracy.
• Verify regulatory reporting outputs and compliance controls. Financial crime programs commonly include KYC, AML, fraud management, sanctions compliance, and case-investigation processes.

• Validate completeness, consistency, uniqueness, and accuracy of data.
• Identify data anomalies and investigate root causes.
• Support data-governance and audit requirements.
• Perform data lineage and traceability validation.

• Develop automated data-validation scripts.
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
• Track defects and support defect triage activities.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.

• Work closely with AML investigators, fraud analysts, compliance teams, and business stakeholders.
• Understand financial crime business rules and translate them into test scenarios.
• Support regulatory audits and project reviews.
